Muhahaha! Here we go. Say hello to the top ranking members of the first set.
Introducing the Queen:
In chess, the Queen is the most dangerous piece on the board.
In Rooks Keep, she's not the most friendly customer and comes armed with a huge poleaxe and some very sharp claws.
With this merciless killing machine in combat, you're going to need to become accustomed to the sight of missing heads and an awful lot of blood.
And finally, the ceremonial leader of the outfit, meet the King:
A courageous ruler, he leads from behind, striking fear into the hearts of his enemies through the actions of his minions.
He spends most of his time maintaining his dignity and hiding behind the towering forms of the Rooks, Knights and Queen for fear of getting showered in viscera, but when crunch time comes, he's more than capable of resolving the problem with a nasty crunch to his victim. That royal sceptre is more than just ceremonial and can certainly break bones especially with its magical augmentation.
At last, the whole set is unveiled; so here are some shots featuring the whole crew. The King and Queen stand alongside the Rook, Bishop (Mage), Knight and a rabble of trembling Pawns.
As you can see, the new members are quite capable of drawing blood just like the others. You'll also notice that players will get to customize the colors of their side.
