Also what would be the console command to get the camera a tiny bit closer to my character in 3rd person.

This wouldn't be very good in first person, to be honest.

But under options, lowering the FOV will make it closer.

Perhaps for now the best way would be to set your FOV via the console, but it's possible it could change back automatically later. :think:

Command: FOV 60/etc

I don't know, might play ok I guess. Clipping is a issue though, if you do something like "camera firstperson" .

As for fov, the problem with fov is the fishbowl effect, will need to be able to zoom in closer to the character and maybe be able to adjust the camera slightly upwards/downwards so you entire view isn't blocked. Like being able to view that character from waist up.

On the other hand, this game might as well of been a ARPG like Diablo console and Magicka. It plays exceptionally well from the top down view.

You can change 'CombatChaseCamDistance' in the Preferences.ini file.
It can also be modified in the console:

Any chance of posting the source code for the mutators and a quick guide on how to get started. Just realized it's been a few years since I compiled a mutator for UT3 and are rather clueless.

For instance what directory do I use, what is the file structure etc.

The source code for Rooks Keep, the non-Steam version was released over a year ago. :)

I am very much happy to learn some new things or perhaps some new games that would please everyone wherein the feedback is very positive and I guess it could overwhelmed the person who create the game.
