I will check for logs soon but since the game was just released I wanted to let you know about the issue asap. As I said all I know so far is the 64 is non-functional for me but the 32 works. I will post the rest of my system information if necessary. |

Also I'm not 100% sure yet but I seem to be unable to save at least my resolution/windowed preference so far. |

Your machine is a 64bit, presumably? Also, did you run/install with UAC on or off? I wonder if that has an effect. |

Did you see any startup movies yet? The UnrealEngine or RS logos? Did you try running it more than once? |

Yes it is 64-bit and quite honestly I don't know exactly what UAC is except that it stands for user account control. Also, I'm not sure what the best way is to copy system information to the clipboard in windows 8, if you'd like that info. EDIT: I did see the 2 splash screens before it crashes (UDK/UE3 one, then yours) and I've tried running it at least 4 times now. |

Here is an idea. Can you try installing it somewhere other than 'program files'? It seems UAC might not like anything being changed in said folder, resulting in settings not being saved Try something like "C:\Games\RooksKeep" |

Success. Saved resolution and windowed preference--also saved some changes I made to the server hosting rules after I restarted the game. |
