Post subject:  How to add 3rd party chess engines?
It says it supports other chess engines but there's no info about how. Is there any manual about how to add other popular chess engines like Rybka or Houdini?

It does support 3rd party chess engines, but only some may work.

To install one, paste the desired chess engines in "steamapps\Common\RooksKeep\Binaries\ChessEngines" as Kuriosity suggests.

Then you'll also have to create a new file under "UDKGame\Config". Call it something like ChessProviders.ini

Under the RKProviders.ini you'll find a chess engine already defined, search for [ChessBot_StockFish RCUIDataProvider_ChessBot]

You'll want to copy the info and format you see there and paste it into your new file.
After that you just change the values appropriately, save the file and launch the game. Your choice of chess engine should appear under the rules menu for the AI.

I'm not sure if anything else was required at the moment, but give that a shot if you do want to install another chess engine. : )
