Hello! Hoping I can get some help here. I posted on the steam boards with no answers. The game loads and runs fine, but there is no sound. The 2 intros play fine but then nothing. No music, no sound effects, nothing. Both main menu and in game are silent. The ONLY sound is while in an active job if I open the menu, the button/scroll over clicks work. Things I have tried so far: Loading up different maps and the office area (no sound anywhere) Computer reboot Adjusting in game sound sliders Checking to make sure it wasn't muted in my task bar Verifying the game cache through steam (it comes up with 8 files failed to validate, says it will reacquire them, but no changes afterwords) Updating my drivers Uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I would really love to enjoy this game but the total silence is killing it for me. Any suggestions? -Amp |
