This is a small 10-man private server dedicated to testing my modded Ballistic Weapons online. I've got my modified shotguns found in this thread and the pistol weapons seen on my post in the the Fan Screenshots thread. If you want to try them out, it's at Kaboodles's Test Chamber ut2004://208.167.225.136:7777 Password: password I modify the files fairly often, so it's a bad idea to extract BWBalPistols.u and BWBalShotguns.u from your cache, and don't use the files linked to on the Shotguns topic. If you already have them, just remove BWBalShotguns.u from your System folder and you're good. As for specific changes I made, I've modified all of the pistols (except the SMGs and Machine pistols) and shotguns. -All of the handguns now have an actual useful burst-fire, with definite pauses between bursts so you don't end up hitting the ceiling -AM67's has a slower fire rate in semi-auto, but faster in burst and full-auto -The AM67 now has an MRS138-style flashlight that is temporarily disabled when the alt-fire is used. The -RS8's silencer now has a 15-round clip and the silencer decreases recoil and increases movement chaos. It does very little to affect damage, at about 95% (I really should just remove the damage penalty totally) -M806 has faster firing rate -A42's single-shot is replaced by spread-shot, increased battery size, increased ammo consumption, and more interesting recharge pattern. -A42 recharges very slowly while using the primary fire (5 units per second). While holding down the alt-fire, it actually uses up ammo at 5 per second until you release it. After 2.5 seconds of not doing anything, the recharge rate dramatically increases to 50 units per second. -D49 Revolver's primary fire rate increased, primary damage decreased, and reload speed increased. As for the alt-fire, it now does two traces with the second bullet impact an inch below the first, but at a slower rate than the primary. -Shotgun changes listed in the shotgun thread. Please comment on any bugs you might find or improvements you can think of. EDIT: NOW OFFLINE |

I've tried out the modified AM67. I gotta say, that flashlight is pretty nifty on that thing.
Love how it shuts off until the caps are recharged.

I got bug for you. The changed skrith sidearm. Try and charge the alt fire beam for a long time. Eventually it will go down to zero, and then after that it keeps going down in the negatives. Only way to stop that is to toss it and pick it back up. |

This server is no longer a BW server. Dorian took it back and turned it into an RPG server. Oh well. Didn't use it much anyway
