I run a server with both the BW and JW weapons. Both the players and I enjoy having the JW weapons on the games, but we also like to have a Junk War only gametype. That's where the problem occurs. In order to hav ethe Junk War only gametype, you have to enable the "junk only" option in the mutator. This in turn means you cant have junk war mixed into other gametypes without it completly replacing all other weapons. I myself have tried to create a second mutator for JW, using the original script from the mod, with minor changes so it would have separate settings in the JunkWar.ini. This both works and doesnt work. I can get a server started using the mod, however, when you switch the gametype to one that also has this second JW mut, the server crashes. Then when you try to open back up UT04, and go to the "host" menu, as soon as you select the gametype, it crashes. At that point I renamed the new jw mut file, and that fixed things. It seems to me that the new mut is somehow flawed and if left in the mutator list crashes you. It doesnt always do this, but enough to make it useless for the server. So what I'm asking for is a way to have JW mixed in normal gametypes, as well as have a mutator that lets you have JW only gametypes. Can anyone help? |

Hi OK, as far as i know, the JW can work with other gametypes and mutators, coz the Junk is spawned at pathnodes... I'll try doing some testing at any rate see what i can find out..

No, no. I know that. Let me explain it more: The Current Mutator has the option to use junk only. I like to use that option for a "JunkWar DM" gametype in which only junk is used (no guns) However, I also liek to have junk in other games (but with guns) But since the mutator only works one way, its either have JW only DM, or JW in all games. Thats where a second mut would be handy. |

Hey Wang, I used the JW 2.0 Mod (Before the Classed the Weps into Those 3 Categories) and you can run the BW Mod and add the Junk Class Names into the Bw.ini file Under the Swap Mutator. Hope this helps. I have done it before and Plan to add a Few JW weps to my Ballsitic Swap. |

This is actually very useful. Though that means it would only replace weapons at a certain time. Personally, I like how it spawns at all the path nodes and such, randomly, its more junky like. |

ok... I need help. where can i find JW v2? its not on this site... and i cant get umods to work, so i dont think i could get it like that... what do i do? |

Its in the with the BWv2 and v21. (Install public beta file first, the rest is patches for it) |
