I downloaded and installed Junk War 1.10 on a server I co-admin a few days ago. It's quite fun, but there are a couple of things that are bugging us: 1) Players who downloaded Junk War on-the-fly from our server can't set their key bindings. The Junk War heading fails to appear in the key configuration dialog. 2) Occasionally, upon death, a player will (from his perspective) be unable to respawn and be locked into post-death spectator mode. He can fix this, at the cost of a point, by suiciding in console. If he doesn't, another player will find his immobile body standing at a spawn point and kill it, which also fixes the problem; however, it's annoying and makes team modes unplayable unless you bind suicide to a key. 3) Also occasionally, primary fire will abruptly cease to work with any weapon. Death also fixes this. Has anyone else observed these apparent glitches, or knows possible solutions that would be less annoying for my players?

Hey... not so good.. have seen that spectator thing.. dunno wtf is causing it tho.. key bindings.. do they have the .int file? and that fire thing.. any idea when it might cease? anyway, thanks for reporting

Aaaargh! I guess this bug really does have something to do with JW... I can't think how it could possibly do this, but here it is! We'll have to track it down and send it to hell... |
