Abt the issue of the fire rate, its my caused by lags, but its very obvious on the AH208.
Ill try to make a video of it next week, to demonstrate what i mean, also i'm not the only one with this issue.

Further there is another question i have abt your package.

If i equip the weapons you made the first time, i get long loading times.
Not sure if it is abt to decompress the textures, or if the textures just to big.
X-83 A1 is very worse on this. My hardware isn't that good yet, but all the other BW's are working well, also the ones from other WP like the one from Fische11 and Jack-Carver.

Do you have a clue, by what this lags by the first equipment caused ?
To me it looks like a loading issue.

I have lags but only on the LS 14 the SKAS have a little issue, but otherwise I don't have much problems ...

Awesome weapon pack; it's definitely my favorite. A few issues I spotted in the beta (which I decided to un-lurk to mention):

• One version of the R98 (winter camo, I think) has no cocking animation. The SX rifle (has 'SX' on the rear of the bolt housing) seems to have a much faster bolt action, though this may have been intentional.
• I think you forgot to remove some of the shadow maps on the SRS Mod-2's scope; it sometimes appears as a shadowy object attached to the sight rail.
• The CYLO UAW's melee causes a muzzleflash and uses a bullet impact noise (and decal).
• The SKAS-21 has a very high amount of chaos - I've got the accuracy setting at 0.3 and it swings all over the place. This should probably be toned down.
• Reloading the LS-14's secondary from empty causes the 'end' of your arm to show.

In any case, I can't wait for the SKAS-21 and Dragon's Tooth Sword to be fully implemented - I'm quite a fan of Deus Ex, and they bring back some great memories.

The CYLO UAW never had a melee attack to begin with- secondary fire fires shotgun shells. This has been discussed for some time but I wouldn't blame you for ignoring the heaps of post since then.

The MKII have only bullets and melee

Magic, pretty much. Also, the firing mechanisms and such for the sawn off are all worn down and stuff.

Its possible we could make the coach gun fire simultaneously. I just wanted to try something different.

here's some more pics, oh yeah Sgt, I know you wanted the muzzle to be smaller, but when I forgot to save the gun that time back and I lost the changes. so either it can stay like this (and kinda replicate the Bulgarian krinkov flash-hider/ noveske kx3 look), change it back to your preference, or close it up and lengthen it so it looks like a suppressor (anyone of them is fine with me )

Occasionally the SRS Mk.2 will allow you to switch fire modes between semi-auto and full auto. Still hunting down what the circumstances of this occurrence are, though it does happen client-side.

The R98 (no-scope R78) will switch to a semi-auto mode that will allow you to fire as fast as you can click. This occurs host side in multi-player, though the specific trigger is unknown as of the writing of this.

Why you don't use mufflers?
In BW only 2 weapons have mufflers. It isn't enough, i think.

Those aren't bugs.

You'll notice the guns may have different textures on them each time too. They use what Sgt Kelly dubs his Camo System, which basically gives you a random chance of getting a different colored gun that has slightly tweaked stats. A nice way of implementing variant weapons into the game without making new entries for each one.

Well, we don't really want texture stretching, and if it's going to be silenced I'll have to get a new sound for it. I'd say stick with the "flash hider" style.

When I go bad guy hunting with the X83, or pretty much any dedi-sniper rifle, I'm carry the PK2000 in my sidearm slot, no exceptions. And yeah, it was nice with the muzzle-brake/flash hider. It'd be nice to have another stealth SMG, but I've always honestly felt the XK2 should fill the two-handed stealth SMG role on its own.

Enough rambling from me, just keep up the spiffy work guys.

Alrighty then I'll keep it as it is though the silencer does add a certain coolness to it, I'll agree that stretching the texture doesn't look as professional

BTW, hows that machinegun that Blade Sword's making? haven't heard about that in a while

The next update, which I'll put up this weekend, will have the mostly-skinned AK490 and SKAS in it. By mostly I mean non-wireframe AK490 and non-green SKAS.

I might also include a differently textured CYLO Experimental. I've got some ideas for this gun in my head. I'm thinking of having an EMP effect for either one of the firemodes or for the alt fire. Maybe one that damages vehicles and remote explosives.

Agreed for the EMP alt fire. Maybe something similar to the grenade launcher, just for EMP.

What about slug rounds though? We've alot of the usual shotgun shell for the shotguns-but no slugs.

No slugs, no flechettes.
In fact I would like an other "classical shotshell" at least to have ammo packs for certain shotties because they use most of the time the same pool ...
But yeah other kind of shells such as slugs, buck and ball, dragon breath, and many others can be used here ...

Actually, Kaboodles has a flechette shotgun and Xav and I been tossing around the idea of a slug shotgun for a while. The closest we'll be getting is the Bulldog Assault Cannon, which will shoot upscaled 20mm AH104 rounds.

It shoots FRAG-12 and HEAP, which are both rather explosive. Ingame it will work out to be a strong, accurate, but slow firing primary fire and a pump action grenade secondary. Should be interesting in a firefight.

Say, why doesn't someone make a shotgun that has several magazine tubes to carry different kinds of shotshell so when someone uses the gun's special, it just changes the ammo that you want to use?

And speaking of the CYLO Experimental, the pickup seems to be bugged; whenever I set it as a replacement weapon, I pick up the Firestorm IV - but the ammo is still the Experimental's. (Sorry if that's unclear.)

Maybe those rounds could set fire to people? Come to think of it, we dont really seem to have any 'acid' type stuff. Maybe an alternative for the Skas?Have it single shot an acid canister or something of the sort...
