I posted on the HMC's a while back, but it has long since been consumed by the mega thread. I'll post again here for clarification.

There are four HMC variants available for use in BW:
- Non-Team standard issue blue HMC. (Variable charge, quick overheat.)
- Non-Team overcharged red HMC. (Camo variant, higher damage, longer laser.)
- Team Red/Blue HMC. (Very long lasting laser.)
- Online Blue HMC. (No variable charge, no camo, broken overheat.)


If people are getting confused, I'll modify the code so that team HMC's say 100% charge regardless of color. But rest assured that no team is getting an unfair advantage.

Well, I'm not getting any of those at all, just the standard one. lol.

Also, the new prototype gun seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. I have no idea what to call it.

The summon command is bwbpprototypes.f2000pickup, the gun is called a GG-4000 Assault Rifle in the loadout menu, and the death messages refer to it as a MARS-2 Assault Rifle.

Also is it just me or does it kick out damage even faster than the AIMS-20? That's insane.

Also why are both fire modes basically the same?

That gun was going to be an F2000, and I actually tasked two different people with making a model for it. Sadly, both of them were unable to cope with its beauty and became emotional husks of human beings. It was even going to have a toggleable silencer, which I just added on as alt-fire while I waited for the models.

Though while this gun is amazingly strong and fast, it still gets its butt handed to it by the AIMS-20. That gun is like the Golden Gun of assault rifles.

So, hey i was messing around. and i noticed a bug with the peacemaker, if you have 1 ammo left and use the alt fire, you have unlimited ammo

Okay so I kind of wish you didn't have to power up the staves to use their powered abilities, cause holy crap, the immolation ability on the staff is almost unfair. I don't think you even need to be looking at someone to do it to them, just be close enough. (edit: okay, so you do have to be looking in their general direction, but you don't have to be aiming right at them.)

Fun as hell with UT2004RPG when you increase your damage to the point they die instantly.

edit: eh, it would be much cooler and easier to aim without the flying. Other than that, I'd like it a lot.

yeah i agree, also, when your flying go 3rd person, it will surprise you

With the huge wings made of light? Yeah, I saw that. It does look really cool, but really I'd have had the staff make it so you only take half damage or something while powered.

I recommend a mutator like Ballistic arena only you get to choose the number of random weapons you start with.

Even cooler: A mutator like junkwar that scatters weapons everywhere...except it scatters guns, not junk



Dual wieldable for me too. I can confirm the 4 arms. Also the left hand gun is upside down



I think what adds to confusion is fact that you always get the overcharged version in invasion.
As I suggested before, perhaps the non-team version should get a different color (i.e: green, so people know it heals nodes like a link beam. The overcharged version should also be colored slightly different)

The team versions should have the exact same visual effects and differ only in color.



Ok that explains it. Come to think of it that's kinda cool: A gun with a built-in silencer that can be 'enabled' or 'disabled' mechanically rather than having to take it off.



Known that one for years. You used to be able to do it with the XMV950 too, but RS fixed that.



What aiming? You don't need to aim with the Nova staff, just swoop in with chain lightning and fry those suckers like the good old fashioned lightning gun used to.

Well I meant the God Strike fire mode, but yeah. lol. Chain Lightning is pretty badass haha.

Quick word of warning here, as cool as the dark star and nova staff fire modes may be, this is not the thread to be discussing them.

I like the LS-14 got a third person model, looks good.

There's still a small offset from the barrel of the bulldog to where the smoke trail starts though. Isn't a big deal, I mean it works fine and all, but thought you might wanna know.

Message received, Raziel! I personally just use a text editor for editing my .uc files. You can then compile them with a simple batch file via the System folder. A new code for summoning the weapons and not overloading the game would indeed be awesome.

P.S random selection or weapon set?

That's the first time I've got a proper look at the SRS from the side. It's a Mk 14. I never noticed that from the first-person viewing angle.

I'll redownload this once my exams are finished. Can't afford to be playing no Unreal Tournament while I'm knee-deep in learning.

The srs 900 is my favourite weapon by FAAR i love it
