It's an .ini file. You probably have the file extensions hidden.

Well, went to Detail mode. Shows no file extension on it, but it does on the others. Screw it, it shows a bunch of names of various things like weapons and such. I'll back it up and see what happens.

Edit: No luck, just made it so I could only have one weapon in loadout. Reloaded the old one over the new, gonna see if it is semi-fixed, and go from there. Will post a new topic in Support rather than put further stuff in here.

Second Edit: Going to reinstall all the BW stuff soon. Furthermore, the weapons seem all VERY strong or weak. The Golden Gun is insane, although I suppose it is meant to, the Plasma Cannon is very strong but that is understandable, the auto-shotgun seems pretty nice, but very ammo-heavy. The A73 Elite is nasty. Really nasty. The A104 is HORRID! It should be instant-death to most players on a chest shot, but it hits so little and is seemingly slightly weaker than the AM67, that it is the worst gun to date with subpar damage and terrible accuracy. It either needs MUCH better accuracy and better damage or a GIGANTIC boost to damage while keeping current accuracy. The M50 tactical seems balanced, although I haven't used it much. The SMAT does just the right ammount of damage, but needs pretty good accuracy to infantry or it doesn't kill. That could be fixed with an upgraded splash or better, shrapnel. It is a flak gun anyways. Also, what is the point of detonating the rocket in-barrel? It serves no function out of it as the projectiles are so fast anyways adn it kills you if you use it before shootin'

So, the balanced ones are the SMAT and Tac, the weak one is the A104, unsure about Auto shotty, Plasma Cannon is massively powerful if used well but understandably so, and the Golden Gun is hilariously overpowered. Finally, the A73 Elite does huge damage. I don't like either of the skrith rifles, they are so strong. Haven't used the new Blaster long enough to know much, and finally, ALL the guns (Except the A104 and the iffy guns) deal HUGE damage, always instant death it seems, on headshot. That is my judgement at the moment.

It looks like you have the AH104 completely backwards.

The AH104 does the most damage out of any pistol in Ballistic Weapons. It is not affected by armor and deals enough damage to kill in two limb shots. While it cannot 1-shot the torso, each shot does around 90 damage.

It has extreme recoil so you have to aim your shots. Crouch and use the laser.



By the way, the M30A2's secondary fire and the AH104 primary fire shoot rounds that pierce armor. That means they deal heavy damage to vehicles and cut through body armor.

Holy crapskiis. Mmm, so it works alot more like the D49 in shooting style than the AM67? Albeit with even more extreme recoil....

That is a bit odd for a bullet-based weapon. You should at least make the armor protect a small percentage, like 10 or 20%.

AH104- Powerful weapon, a noble attempt to make me replace the D49, but no.

GRSXX- Golden GRS FTW!

M781- it's ok...

M30A2- So awesome, it's my new favorite sniper rifle/assault rifle.

A73-E- Not bad.

SM AT/AA- Powerful, but hard to use.

HVPC- Again, not bad.

Overall- 9.7/10

Wow, hadn't noticed that. I agree though. If the Railgun is stopped or slowed by armor, then this should be too.

The GRSXX continues to be a nightmare though. I hate that gun so much x.x

Also, the M781 really, really doesn't need double or quad-shot modes. That's just excessive. It's enough that it's the only fully-auto shotgun in the game, and has the largest magazine capacity.

while some weapons are overpowered, i think that no one is underpowered.
I will test it more, but here is my review:
AH104- I thought that it would be more powerful, but then it would be overpowered.

GRSXX-Beautiful but overpowered, if dual wielded. the laser is MUCH more powerful than the original GRS. and 24 bullets in full auto? nice when not dual wielded, but overpowered when dual... 48 bullets and a death laser is overpowered I think that it's better to make it not dual wieldable.
but the gold tint is COOL! and the blue laser is even more cool!

M781-I thought it would be overpowered, but no! it's balanced, great work here!

M30A2-Awesome rifle, love the look, well made weapon. what about a trail in the Gauss shot? something like the UT3 Sniper? it would balance the normal and gauss shot, since the gauss shot is invisible and do more damage.

A73-Elite- beautiful weapon. I love to rain those plasma bombs.

SMAT- Really cool. good job. it is really efficient to kill people/tanks. however, it's better than other bazookas to destroy helicopters, but I would pick a Railgun to kill Helicopters. Is possible to make it lock-on aircraft only?

Plasma cannon- I like it. It's meant to be powerful, and it is.

overall:9.8- just some balance in them and it will be a 10!

About the M30A2 gauss, I tried giving it a special secondary effect but it didn't work in the end. It seems it can have either 1 trail or no trail.

I'll keep the AH104's AP effect since it uses specially made shells designed specifically for that reason. Though I didn't know the railgun was affected by armor. I'll change the M30A2's gauss.

My opinion on all this overpowered/underpowered stuff is,just deal with it,your enemies can use it,you can use it.Just make them harder to get or more costly or leave them out all together.

I gotta tell you,you get a sense of accomplishment from chainsawing(thank you Xavious) a godlike bot weilding twin GRSXXs.

after testing more the golden gun, I noticed that the laser is what makes it overpowered. maybe nerf only the laser, and it will be balanced.

You should have seen it in the earlier versions.
It had an infinite battery.

I would not recommend putting the GRSXX in the starter category, though. It was designed as a super weapon.

But i thought AH104 would be different, it just doesn't work. The AM67 works and so does the D49, and thats because they work as sidearms, at the end of the day, the Ah104 is still a sidearm, but it seems like its trying to be something its not. it took me 4 shots with it to kill a bot :|

Wow. Whats with every bodies' lack of skill with the Pounder? That thing is freakin' awesome! Not my new primary sidearm because I deem it a little too powerful, but still a damn fun weapon to use.

I have no lack of skill, I just headshot everyone I see.

Still, it cannot replace the D49, but it's a good secondary sidearm.

The A73E is listed as a "Non-BW" weapon in Loadout. Also, its Loadout icon is very blurry and somewhat squished.

Edit: I'm not getting that problem. I had it before, but when I deleted my BWCache.ini all my A73 Elite related problems went away.

I think the main problem with the AH104 is that it's only slightly more powerful than the D49, but has far higher movement chaos, hence it's more difficult to nail the head and torso shots.
