Nope, the mod will not be fully 2.5 compatible unless I recode it for the new base.

I don't know if we can have a few fixes with the SPAS primary fire for example.
it seems that Carver and Fische are porting their stuff from KF to BW
but I don't know though

Public beta coming out soon. Primary changes are bug fixes and high quality sounds.

Primary changes:
- Mk23 code optimized.
- Mk23 recoil/firerate adjusted for easier use.
- Mk23 fire sound quality upgraded.
- Mk23 fire sound modified for added 'punch'.

- M99 fire-modes removed.
- M99 sound trail's uncorrupted. (Removed strange bits that made popping sounds at the end.)
- M99 deviant laser fixed. Er, not fixed.

- Desert Eagle accuracy reduced to AH208/AH104 levels.
- Desert Eagle fire sound quality improved.

- M7A3 min torso damage upped by 5. Can now kill a little faster when aimed now.
- M7A3 clip capacity increased by 10 due to small rounds.
- M7A3 firerate increased by small amount.
- M7A3 fire sound quality improved, punch added for better sounding automatic fire. (Now it kind of sounds like popcorn, though.)

- Commando given a non-rusty skin.
- Commando will now actually shoot and reload.
- Commando given a sound and description.

- RPG-7 chaotic rocket chance increased a bit.

- P90 code optimized.
- P90 firesound upgraded.

- SPAS-12 pump action accuracy improved.
- SPAS-12 chaos reduced for better control.

IMHO i don't like this ballance changes.

SPAS-12 fires way too fast, you should balance it to shoot a little less faster.

RPG-7 spam is one of the things that contributes to making ABA hellish to play on. I'll pull up some relative data for the M7A3 later. Good changes.

Well, it has changed from 1/1000 to 1/100, so it's still a very small chance.

The M7A3 also fires 4.7mm rounds, which are smaller than a P90s, yet with the same size mag. 60 would actually be a more realistic number but that's a bit much.

Post any issues or crits here! I need input on the new sounds too, as some of the sounds had no similar sounding HQ versions and had to be remixed.

I hope the MK23 isnt overpowered with the recoil changes. It was little overpowered already before.
The M7A3 could be an ueberweapon now :S

The M7A3 fit now the heavier killign machines with its new sound, but like i said, little overpowered due to its changes now - to big magazine, to less recoil and too much damage.

The Laser of the M99 is still not working ? Or is it on purpose that it adjust the first time.

The MK23 has a total nice sound now Even with the chaos decrease, still a competitive weapon.

P90 has nice sounds now

552 Commando:

For the part, it's nice, but it needs a better description.

It isn't updated for 2.5 yet, that is the problem you are experiencing, it will probably be fixed in the final release.

The M99 really should not be using BW's magazine system. There's just no point to it.

I don't see any problem with it, which is why I haven't really bothered to change it.

It's the way the weapon is set-up code-wise. It's treated like a weapon with a 1-round magazine (ammo counter only shows 1 bullet) that must be reloaded between shots. Contrast this with the BORT, which doesn't have a magazine (the ammo counter shows the total ammo you have for the weapon), but must be "cocked"(cocking animation is you putting another grenade in the chamber) between shots.


It's not really a huge problem, it's just not the best way to set up a single-shot weapon.

I prefer it that way than like the bort, I had plenty of games with single shot weapons who does like that. because it tells you if there is a bullet loaded or not. while the system in the bort tells nothing

The BORT should auto-reload between shots.

heh I think I can agree on that one, the bort should auto reload but the wilsons should reload when we press the fire buttons and it only cocks the hammer.
