I had the idea of having a version of BW that has all the BW2.0 guns, but are all designed to be just simply upgraded from their original forms, and not even meant to be balanced. I'll be putting up a list of what I've got in planning, and what's done code-wise. I hope you don't mind if I do this SB and DC! I only plan to put it here! M806A2 X1: Primary- Shoot (single, burst, full auto) Secondary- Shotgun Blast (uses 4 ammo) Tertiary- Orange laser RS8R: Primary- Shoot (single, burst, full auto) (18 bullet clip) Secondary- Laser or Flash Tertiary- Silencer and Secondary Selector *Silencer allows for laser, sans silencer lets for a '67 style flash AM67-DC4: Primary- Shoot (same as norm) Secondary- Flash Tertiary- Green Laser D49-LX: Primary- Shoot Secondary- 6-Shooter (all 6 at once) (is an MRT6 single blast) Tertiary- Yellow Dot M763-SP4: Primary- Shoot Secondary- Slug Shot Tertiary- Whack? (might not have a whack) X290: Primary- Double Blast Secondary- Double Slug Tertiary- Single Blast MRS226SR: Primary- Shotgun Blast Secondary- Taser+Flash Tertiary- Flashlight *Taser+Flash is just both at the same time (and means you can be flashed at long range) XMK7: Primary- Shoot (single, 3-burst, 5-burst, full auto) Secondary- Grenade Throw (uses NRP57) Tertiary- Silencer *I might have to make XMK7's come with NRP57's, but are only useable with the XMK7! O_o Fifty-9 BME Primary- Shoot (single, burst, full auto) (54 bullet clip) Secondary- Slash Tertiary- Stock In/Out XTRS640: Primary- Shoot (single, burst, full auto) Secondary- Purple Laser Tertiary- Grenade Throw (uses NRP57) *same as XMK7, if I can't find a way to lose ammo from your NRP57's..... these'll be new pickups M80A4: Primary- Shoot (single, burst, full auto) Secondary- Shotgun Blast (instead of grenade launcher) Tertiary- Super Camera (2x longer zoom) SRS427X: Primary- Shoot (single, burst, full auto) Secondary- Mount? (might just be Super Scope) Tertiary- Silencer *Super Scope does 1.5x the normal distance of the normal scope M353BME: Primary- Shoot (single, 3-round burst, 5-round burst, full auto) (200 bullet belt) Secondary- Red Laser Tertiary- Deploy M925BME: Primary- Shoot (single, burst, full auto) Secondary- Deploy Tertiary- Proxy Mine *Proxy Mine acts like the M925 is a BX-5, but with no lights! XRV-850: Primary- Shoot (600RPM, 1200RPM, 1800RPM, 2400RPM, 3000RPM, 3600RPM) Secondary- Deploy Tertiary- 6000RPM Fire R78A1 BME: Primary- Shoot (semi-auto) (12 round clip) Secondary- Scope Tertiary- None M75TIC-F12X: Primary- Shoot Secondary- Scope Tertiary- Super Thermal View *STV is a 2x longer thermal range G5-X RPG: Primary- Shoot Secondary- Controllable Missile (like the Redeemer) Tertiary- Blue Laser *Missile cam is useless when you have to use it anyways for secondary fire! |

I've been doing somewhat the opposite for these past two weeks. I've been trying to make balanced versions of the weapons. I hope to release them soon, but I've got this incredibly nasty bug where the M353 and M925's secondary crashes the game to desktop. Driving me mad. |

That sucks. All my mods to the M353 is to add a laser sight. My M925..... PROXY MINE!!!! Yeah..... idea from Perfect Dark if you couldn't tell. |

Quick question: What are you doing exactly when creating a new M353? Are you duplicating all of the classes, like M353MachineGun_TW or M353Turret or M353SecondaryFire? It seems the origin of the bug is M353MachineGun_TW and the BCoreV2.BallisticWeapon class, but I have no idea how the hell I'm going to fix it. Also, a laser sight on a machine gun? |

Yeah, make sure you copy all the classes Adam said, and check for ALL references to the various classes. Chances are you probably forgot something. Each of those classes pretty much references the other classes, more or less. |

M353MachineGun, M353Pickup, M353Turret, M353MachineGun_TW, M353PrimaryFire, M353SecondaryFire, and the two Damage Type classes. I am 100% sure I got all the references right, or I would probably have gotten a lot of Accessed Nones on my log. The problem seems to be math-related. I'll duplicate the Minigun and see if it's any different. |

All I've done is edit the chaos, recoil, and damage values to make it weaker in motion but more powerful stationary or deployed. I haven't altered it in any complicated way, like adding a laser sight or something. |

Try modding the DE code for ut... I've always loved orderly code. I've looked at the Unwheel car code, and.... I just could never find what I wanted. Took literally 10 minutes to find one default property variable. Then I go back to my Scorpion code and instantly find what I want. --- I'm hoping this will work too UP. EDIT: Grah, finding where to actually have tertiary fires is hard though even in your code DC! I ended up using a bit of my bro's code and your own to create a tertiary fire for the M806A2X1! Which was just a laser... The secondary was much easier! Double Edit: Grr..... laser won't work, and now won't compile due to the laser! |
