Cool! I've been trying to switch over to Blender for modeling and animating myself. My main problem so far is just getting the rigging right... :/ Tell me how that goes. And remember, try to not to get too far ahead of yourself, keep things at one step at a time. |

As for the tommy, will it be the drum kind or the military kind? I am sort of hoping for the drum kind, not only because of the whole gangster thing, but also balance- the tommy deals impressive damage for a submachine gun, but suffers heavily from the horrible recoil and accuracy. The high capacity of the drum solves this. |

The Thompson only has good damage and decent accuracy because of the slower RoF. That's the same with the BAR. |

Yeah, I hope you guys aren't going by Call of Duty values. They have the two guns mixed up. |

ChaosMarine wrote: Nope... My dad is a former marine. I don't want to break this to you, but that is usually a surefire card in the wrong direction. I don't want to sound offensive or anything, but usually when people say "I have been in the army!" or "I know this dude who has been in the army!" they use this as either an escape route or a way to demand respect. Firearms may not be my greatest field of knowledge, but the behaviors of the MP40 and Thompson are legendary. There is also a possibility that your dad used a modified one or something, although I find the tale sort of hard to believe. |

56000 actually i can make models but i cant seem to smooth the egdes good, the grenades were a 20 minute job well think of the next gun im making the skrith drilling crossbow, if i can surpass that one then im making the thompson, it will have a futuristic look.

TurdDrive wrote: 5600 is was to much Keep it way under 10k for any model to use in ut2k4 Quoted for truth. You shouldn't be using subsurf for UT2004 models. You should really learn how to model round, organic things manually before you revert to using built in tools for it, it makes you a much better modeler. The bevel tool is your friend, as is Subdividing. Hit me up with a PM or such if you want some tips. |
