Hi guys this is ballistic Retextures. Its a mod that is in progress that will change every BW gun and have new textures such as Bronze Plated D49 or a Chrome Plated S-ar 12 This is getting worked on quite fast and im going to code it so that there can be 3 skins for the guns which are randomly selected. So you can spawn with a Chrome plated S-ar a desert themed S-ar a winterized S-ar and of course the original. NOTE: i am changing ALL the guns even the Ballistic 2.5 ones aswell so it WILL take time but i will finish it dont worry You are welcome to Share ideas for Colours of guns I will release a Beta soon which will include a Retexture for the M75 TIC, S-ar 12, AM67, RS-8, BORT, R-9 Ranger Rifle, And The jackal

Okay instead im just going to retexture the guns and leave it at that its easier and i'll be done quicker i've retextured the R9 Ranger rifle and it looks awesome it has a darker barrel and a light blue skin it makes the gun feel and look casual and awesome

Hello, guys im hard at work on this and i have a couple of good ideas on which direction to take, ive decided to make BW texture packs with different assorts such as desert themes Winter themes and camoflauge once i've done this im going to code a system to allow all the texures to be in the guns so you have equal chance of spawning with a different texture and of course the original texture. this is going to open bw up and make it much more fun, i've already made new textures for the GRS9 , R9 ranger rifle , AM67 Assault Pistol , Redwood deer rifle , Sar 12 , and the RS8 Pistol. So Im hard at work I also made a texture for the XMV but im not very happy about it so im going to change it But apart from that everything is going smoothly. |

You can rate these photo's out of 10 BTW im going to read capt. xavious's Coding tutorial and see if i can do anything maybe make a special skin that shows by chance this will make this mod work perfectly. im very well progressing with this so i will update soon

Good job. I think the SAR and the D49 are the best. Especially I like the brown cylinder of the revolver. The other guns are ofc nice too. Keep up the good work. |

The d49 is my favourite gun in the game so i did show it some extra love and the S-ar was my first Retexture Trust me the next version will make these gun s look like all time killing machines BTW if you want this retexture pack you can have it just P.M me

In the final version i want to have at least 3 skins for every weapon including the Original skin so 4 skins each the skins will have equal chance of been picked up. i might add secret skins but we'll see I was hoping that i could add different names for the weapon skins such as Camo R-9 ranger rifle or Winterized S-ar 12 but i think that would be VERY hard I could also if i want change the BW hands but i prefer not to, there what make bw unique

i do like the idea of a black version of the E-23. But i dont think its possible to have plasma laser that is red, i can do a red beam of laser but for the hell of it i can do it red Btw thanks the s-ar was my first retexture it didnt really plan out the way i wanted it to i wanted it to have a winterized camoflauge but i edited it and the pattern just got over writen I do like your idea though and im very open to ideas so your welcome to provide any ideas ![]() Thanks Sarge ![]() EDIT: okay, im going to try something. im going to COMPLETLY retexture the m75 tic which means also retexturing the effects and the scope which is a big job. the effects are going to be black the gun is going to have an experimental feel to it which is going to ROCK and the scope is going to be a little more complex especcially around the x ray part

This is really interesting! Say, maybe the mutator will allow you to run with a single theme for all guns if you want that activated? For example, you play a desert-themed map and want all guns colored accordingly? It would be nice to see something that allows you to choose what skins should spawn! |

yes thats kinda it i can and probably will make a mutator for that but at the moment they'll just spawn randomly and there probably will be secret ones aswell so for example there will be three types of the m75 the first one is the Experimental one the second is a black version with red lights and the third one is a Gold plated One with Green lights and of course the original. so this will make uniqueness for every gun i've just made the experimental version adn i like it but there's a bit i need to correct so the guns will be perfect when i take the next screen shots

I leave the E-24 rifle in your hands to do everything you want with it. Thanks guy! And good luck with your project. My Main problem at the moment is the effects they arnt using the edited version i put in im trying to make a Orange like Beam for the M75 but it keeps using blue instead, no worry though im sure its a fault on my end Progress: ive made an experimental M75 and it looks COOL It'll look better when it has the Orange beam I will post pics soon

This mod is far from dead guys!, ive already retextured the bw hands, into actual skinned ones, and so far there nice!, im thinking it'll be like this, red team is humans, with human hands, and blue team will be skrith with blue hands, that'll be easy to do, i havnt got alot of retexturing on the guns but i retextured jackcarvers mk33, i havnt asked for permission, but i will ask him when i release the mod full, at the moment its for enjoyment only, its got a bronze barrel and looms quite nice, it sgtands out alot more now Im going to at lease retexture all the guns, and the hands are going to be fully complete aswell. |

So... I have a question. Would Kelly be allowed to add those retextures to his pack? I mean, he uses different camouflages for his weapons, would this be allowed for original bw weps? |

urm, i know what your talking about, but its hard to code, it'd mena changing the code of EVERy weapon in BW, a hard task. Anyway, ive completed the first set of guns, These include SRS_900 R9 Ranger Rifle RS8 Pistol Am64 Pistol Jack Carvers Mk24 Pistol M75 Railgun, D49 Revolver S-ar 12 Viper variable Plasma Weapon (by Request) GRS9 Pistol And Not a Weapon But The BW Hands They dont have the wetsuit thing on anymore, and have actual skin instead So there just gloves now Im going to ask for permission from runestorm and Jackcarver first before i release the mod, and after i've released i'll get working on the other Weapons

Progress update: Okay im thinking of releasing the Guns without the Mk23 For the time been, im also considering Giving it a Spec Mask Because it seems To be missing One The specmask is basically what makes the gun shiny It'd really Improve the look of the gun, The D49 has a NEW skin, Its still copper but can be more recognised as copper instead of a dullish brown, Although if i make it any more Copperish colour it'll look gold Im going to be working on the second set of guns, This includes The rest of The pistols The M50 Assault rifle (this ones Tricky Because ive always liked the skin So i'll do some little changes probably add a Decal or two)XMV 850 Also Im Going to add some Screenies To show people how good they are

Im not going to post anything about Updates or anything for a week now but im still going to carry on with the mod BIG progress update next week i promise ![]() Also im going to talk to a coder or someone and see if i can work out a deal, so that i can make multiple skins and someone can code the chance system into BW Then i would make progress for definite At the moment if i have to code this by myself its going to take me ages because i actually have to learn how to code first So having someone help me would make this 10X easier. ========================================================================= Update, Im thinking the next part of this mod should be finishing off the remainder of the guns, but im thinking of leaving the mk23 out of the pack, because i cant get in contact with fishe11 or jack carver. So if i leave that out and TRY to add a specmask to it, then if he contacts me i'll have a specmask and a little more tweaks done on it
