TEH BIG LIST:

NEO Manta:A basic update of the basic Manta, little as changed, aside from sum new effects and +50 HP

RocketSRV:A basic buff to the BW Scorpion, rockets now do 250 damage per direct impact.

Thor Tank:Its now slower, and now fires more standard forward moving shells like other shell spewing tanks do(5 second per fire, 800 total damage, little slower than the other tank shells). The dust effects are also gone, due to the fact that they can crash the game.

MIRV SPMA and MEGASPAMER SPMA: The MIRV SPMA is an improvement to the original UT2004 SPMA, while the MEGASPAMER SPMA Fires single powerfull shells with a decent splash.

Hellfire Cicada:An upgrade to the Cicada, rockets are now faster and do 90 damage per hit(40% more damage vs vehicles) and its laser gun is replaced with an autocannon with a small splash.

NEO Paladin:Small update to the regular paladin, has a faster fire rate with slightly more powerful balls, a new skin, and its now fastaz!!!.

E-V Plasma Paladin:This one fires big green plasma balls, like the HV plasma Cannon 9000. Has faster balls, and a slower fire rate, the speed buff also applies, so go on and ShieldBall Combo sum bots. :P

Buggy:Originally made by Vaporlynx, a good alternative to the Scorpion, has a MG turret and has 350 HP

Artillery:Originally made by Vaporlynx, its more like a self propelled AT gun, armed with a long range 150mm cannon. Just be wary of its rather low speed and 500 HP.

Medium Tank:Originally made by Vaporlynx, its a basic tank. An effective replacement of the old Goliath; having most of the Goliath's attributes.

Mammoth Tank:Originally made by Vaporlynx, the most well armed and well armored(2000HP) tank, its also the slowest. Fires twice the rate than the Medium Tank, has tusk missiles to deal with aircraft, and can self repair to 50% health.

Poltergeist HoverTank:Originally made by Wormbo. Basicly its a Hovering Goliath, less armor(700HP) and no MG turret, but faster speed more maneuverable and can hover over water, just be careful as its weak vs craft with air to hover missles. Like the Mirage Raptor from Rumple made long ago.
(think about it, the old devs named it 'ONSHovertank', now i made it suitable in that way :P).

Enravion Railgun Tank:Originally made by Wormbo. This one has a powerful railgun that can tear through tanks and other armor, takes a while to charge, but deals 900 per shot :P Also added effects and sounds too.

NEO Leviathan: a good improvement of the old one, now has 6500 HP, a much more powerful main cannon, and now has two .50 Cal MG turrets(take out them Tanks) and Two Heavy Plas Turrets(take out them Guys with Rocket Launchers).




It Requires BallisticV25 and Ballistic Recolors and BWVehicles and BEvehicles pack(its bundled with BW as default)addon since it uses sum of their assets... The custom Sounds were from either Gamebanana's pubic released audio, and sum were from the modding community of another game series i had back in 2008. Still good though! :O

Effects are mostly based on the effects codes found on other mods, but were tweaked and use basic UT2004 and BW Textures and Meshs, though Harr General and Sgt Kelly allowed me to use their effects without actually altering em. :D

I like the idea. New vehicles are always good.
However, it is missing a file called: OCABallisticTextures which isn't part of Ballistic v2.5 or
the latest recolours pack.

hm? thats not right, its not ment to be relied on anything but the textures i put in, BallisticV25 and The Recolors pack, hold on, ill make a fix soon enough............

*EDIT* LINK UPDATED...... found out i messed up the dependencies up a little bit, its using another texture pack i had on my system rather than the one i wanted to use.

Later on i also plan on editing the Cicada and SPMA too... depends really. I need new effects for em though...

in any case, the New Cicada will have stronger rockets and had its lazor cannon replaced with an autocannon that has a small area of effect, while the new SPMA will fire a single powerful shell with a big splash, only thing though is that i need new effects for the explosions, hit effects, and maybe sound effects. And maybe new skins for em too... :confusion-helpsign:

The cicada could use the Peacemaker rockets I think. Would increase the hellfire-like feeling. :mrgreen:

The Hellfire missile in real life is actually a dedicated anti-tank missile, not OMG ROCKET SPAM.

And thats where i name it 'Hellfire Cicada'. ill probably keep the original rockets and just buff their damage though, im not too good at coding.

Though yeah, hellfire missiles are massive missiles. You probably won't have more than 4 on an aircraft the size of the Cicada.

but for now, perhaps we should just focus on giving the E-V Plasma Paladin a new Paint-job, worry about those later... :P BTW anyone tried it yet?

u sure u got everything in order? got the textures where they should be and the system files too? got the latest version of Recolors and Ballistics?

Yes, I have Ballistic v2.5 and The latest recolors package.
I'll download and try it again though.

Edit: Okay, I tried again and still nothing. That's weird since the first version at least said that it was missing packages in the log.

Which recolors pack is this one based off of? v8 or the latest v9?

Turbo K is right, the E-V Plasma Paladin isn't listed on Worm2K4 Mutator, and in Car Launcher when I configured the mutator it shows the name of the vehicle, but in the game the vehicle doesn't appear.

The problem is caused for the missing package "OCABallisticTextures", this file isn't part of BW2.5 and SK's Ballistic Weapons Pack. Maybe you use a texture package from other mod.

Here is my UT2004.log warning message:

Warning: Imposible cargar 'OCABallisticTextures': Imposible encontrar archivo para paquete 'OCABallisticTextures'
Warning: Imposible cargar 'EVPaladinSkin': Imposible encontrar archivo para paquete 'OCABallisticTextures'

I have Ballistic Weapons 2.5, Sergeant Kelly's Ballistic Weapons Bonus Pack V9 (Recolors) and SK's Ballistic Weapons Bonus Pack Prototypes.

Also, please could you make a Scorpion with the M75Railgun? (would be the terror of the Mantas and Raptors) ;D

I found the OCABallisticTextures package, this file is part of OCAdam's BWv21realisticR2 mod. (viewtopic.php?f=27&t=71317&start=30) and see the question: "Just to make sure, did you place the OCABallisticTextures.utx file in the textures folder?"

By chance, you will not have the BWv21realisticR2 mod?

I tried to download the mod but the links are dead. Have you looked if the OCABallisticTextures file is in your Textures folder?

I still get nothing in my mutator list and it doesn't appear in the WoRM vehicle replacer.

did u delete the older versions? just updated it again...

no idea y it isnt working for ju, i made sure its not using anything else.

try adding it manually in the map to see if theres sumthing wrong.

yeah, not too good at this IMO...

Ok, I quickly made a test map and stuck it in there. It actually worked in game which means that I have all the required files. Something must be wrong with the mutator part of it since I can't find it in-game at all.

Otherwise, its a pretty neat vehicle.

i think u should delete the mutator(WORMS, and any other vehicle replacement mutator) from your system folder and reinstall it, should work then.



also, be aware that bots like to use these... its not my fault if u get blasted to hell by a big green ball of death, blame the coders :P

i added another gig, the E-V Paladin now explodes violently when destroyed(if a husk remains, destroy it to asplode it :greetings-waveyellow: ), like when u Overheat and Asplode a E-V Plasma Cannon 9000, u can use this to ur advantage to take out nearby enemies in a spectacular green explosion. :happy-jumpyellow:

make sure older versions are deleted first...
