It's been a long time since I last posted here, so I hope this is in the right place. I figured it would be better here than in the official support section. Anyway . . .

My friends and I recently switched over to new computers, we've been having some problems in multiplayer with the Jack Carver and Fische11 weapon pack as well as with the HerrDoctor Weapon Pack. Unfortunately switching back to our old computers is out of the question, and we can't see what our settings used to be. I'm hoping I can get help; at least figuring out why there's a problem even if it can't be fixed would be great.

There are a few issues that happen, so here's a list:

    - Weapons from the two packs will only appear in the host's inventory.
    - To the host, it appears as though the other players are actually holding the weapon(s) even though they don't show up for/can't be used by the other players.
    - The host's weapons do not appear to other players; it looks like the host is holding no weapons at all. Projectiles from these weapons do not appear to other players and sounds do not play.
    - When BWBPWeaponPack2, BWBPHrDoctor, BWBPHrDoctorAnim, BWBPHrDoctorSounds, BWBPHrDoctorStatics, and BWBPHrDoctorTex are added to serverpackages, other players cannot join. The IP and map name show up, but nothing happens.
    - All of these issues occur even though all players have the same files and have the same things added to serverpackages.

For all intents and purposes, the weapons from both packs don't work on multiplayer for us, which makes no sense because we used to be able to play games with them without any problems. The weapons work perfectly in instant action for everybody, and they used to work when we played on our other computers, so why don't they work in LAN games now?

To the best of my knowledge there shouldn't be any incompatibilities between weapon packs. Just in case it helps, here's what our BW-related serverpackages look like (anything with a ; was commented out).

Hello there.
If all of your friends have installed hr doctors weapon pack and the old cf-mutator of mine, its not needed to list all the ressources in the serverpackages except for the .u file (ServerPackages=CFMutator, ServerPackages=BWBPHrDoctor).
The same applies SKBPs and Kellys Bonuspack.

And: The server packages must only be specified within the Hosts UT2004.ini

Usually, this indicates that the clients are downloading the missing files.

Getting rid of everything except for the .u files worked. Thanks!
