I got some time today, I'll double check the death messages (again). If you could report specific weapons, that'd be great. I'll add your death message ideas anytime. I lack some death messages since I didn't have enough time to think about it. Suggestions are welcome! :D

I couldn't check the death messages ingame until yesterday because I forgot how to turn off Simple Death Messages. Silly me.

Health Crucifix is a cool idea, I'll definitely do that.

The pack has 51 new weapons (typo in picture) and I think 55 would be a good number.
I'm planning an electric iron and a tennis racket.

Does anyone have 2 weapon ideas I could add? Should be final-final then and we'll release it on ModDB. :>

There was a mistake in that flame sword's messages.
Also I don't recall if it was this time too, but in the previous version the pickaxe didn't have any messages at all and just had "[Player one] got killed by [Player two]"

Suggestions? I was thinking about rotten tomatoes (either breaking on impact or sticking to the wall/ground)

And how about some kind of small ball? Like a tennis ball or maybe even better: A baseball to go with the baseball bat! :P

I've already thought about this but I don't know about any animations for round junk weapons. I'm not sure, but I think there might be some kind of animation for ball weapons. But I'm seriously not sure if they really work like this and if they're finished. Also I'm not an animator, I don't even know the basics of animating for ut2k4 (yet?) :D So creating a completely new JW weapons tier isn't possible atmo.

I found my 2 weapons anyway, I just used some models I wanted to use a long time ago, actually.

Look forward to the clothing iron, a tennis racket, a lamp post and the assassin's dagger.
Additionally the death messages should be fully fixed now.

Still working on the crucifix and its healing capability, I'll need Xavious help for that. :P

I'll be taking a look into the code in a little bit, Vani, but in the mean time, would you be interested in absorbing my tiny JW pack into yours? It'd make it one less download people would have to do, and I already have it coded up. Just let me know.

Also I decided to add a little addition to the little guy a while ago.

can't do round things? Why not make it look like you're hammering a nail with a rock? I couldn't find an image of it. So you'll have to imagine it.

The grip animation wouldn't look right for round objects like a rock, I know what you mean though. :D

I have everything needed actually and pretty much ready to import but I haven't packaged the whole stuff, the textures are really basic coloring considering the fact that both prod and rod were made in 2h30 ~ 3h each.
the rod isn't exported yet but the files you will receive will be .obj and .ase they will be ready to import in UT

Xavious will do that for me, we're focussing on the next update to include the garden gnome and do some coding stuff.

Blade sword, your weapons were succesfully included! Your cattle prod is an electric weapon and I'm trying to make the immersion heater able to ignite gasoline.

New stuff!

Changelog:
- Fixed lots of death message and third person drawscale bugs
- Absorbed JWBPXav - The Garden Gnome joined JWBP Vani! He got new abilities and will randomly
become either a possessed gnome able to ignite your enemies or a scarred gnome willing to become your personal, exploding kamikaze...
- Added 8 new weapons by me. Clothing iron, tennis racket, lamp post, assassins dagger (extremely dangerous poison weapon!), rocks, tennis balls and Blade Sword's cattle prod and immersion heater!
- Crucifix and syringe are healing weapons now, but only for team mates. The syringe keeps its poisoning capabilities, of course.
- Did some weapon balance so some weapons don't feel like clones. Kukri has less range but more head damage than a machete, scythe has incredible range now, helicopter main rotor has an incredible kick force that will literally send your enemies flying now!

The download link stays the same, I like Mediafire.

It should be uploaded to ModDB soon.

If the Xav pack gets assilimated, should I delete it or can I keep it? Which would mean the normal gnome would stay as a seperate weapon right?

You don't have to delete it, it shouldn't really matter.
EDIT: You should delete the garden gnome's old junkwars.ini line though.

Ok, gave this a shot.

First up, the iron is WAY too big.

Second, may I recommend something like this for a weapon?

For the assassin blade, you may notice the blade itself looks funny. To fix this, open it in blender, select the blade, and press W > Flip normals and export back out. That should fix that up.

For the rock and/or tennis ball, try setting these:

You'll need to adjust offsets, but it looks like it may be particularly good for the rock.

...Oh man browsing TurboSquid and playing around with you pack really makes me want to make a medieval pack now. The hard part is finding ones that have a fairly consistent art style, but I am seeing enough that seem like they'd look perfectly appropriate sitting next to each other.

I felt like the dagger wasn't looking right but I didn't notice it was inverted.. I'll fix that for the next patch.

You can send me the axe if you want, we should give it vampiristic abilities.

And the clothing iron is TOO BIG?? I seriously don't think so, there are irons this size.
EDIT: Well, if it REALLY bothers you, I can scale it down a bit. Just wondering, it isn't oversized at all, I just checked my iron irl to make sure I'm not crazy. :D

For junkwars you preferrably put the center of the handle where the hands will grab the object.
In BW it's quite different as I have to tweak the centers in both aim view and hip handling view
