A VERY big WELL DONE to the devs at RuneStorm!! RuneStorm's 3 entries in to phase 3 of the MSUC came away with 4 prizes: Best New Character / Customization Pack winners: 1st Place for Savior Character Pack Best New Weapon Set: 2nd Place for Crucible Weapons Pack 3rd Place for Ballistic Weapons The Best First-Person Shooter (FPS) Game Mod: 5th Place for Crucible Weapons Pack That is a real scoop for the guys! Well done!! We need to point out a few things, like the 3rd place for BW (UT3 port) which was a straigh foward port, with a lot of the orginal functionality left out, and my favourite is the 5th place in the best FPS mod for the Crucible weapons pack. This for a straight foward weapons pack that wins a placing in a best FPS mod category!! The pressure is now on in a big way, the final phase closes end of August, we wait to see what the devs have up their sleeve as I have no doubt their eyes are on the big prize now...They need to place in the top 12 to have a chance at that $1 Million prize. A big congradulations to all the winners in phase 3. There are some really top class works being presented and the competition is getting very tight. |
