Here's a quick map I whipped up in a couple of non-consecutive hours. It is designed solely for Ballistic Swapper Invasion games. While it could work for other gametypes, it is not recommended. Also, you will spawn a distance away from the base. The only thing, in my opinion, that destroys Invasion for BW is the fact that you constantly have to be running, thus destroying your accuracy. Sadly, no one will make a decent zombie mutator past Life After Death, so that's as far as we can go with near-endless waves of SOMETHING. Though, it's commendable that you made something for BW, so thanks! |

Ok... This map is designed to play without the need for constant running. The idea is to pretty much just hold the fort. Works pretty well. Me, my bro and a friend tried it out in a LAN game before I put in the pickups and it ran smoothly. It has goodies in the front line for the infighters, ammo and health in the base for the door defenders, and provisions up top to restock and for the long range gunners. LAD is not a very good zombii mut in my opinion. You really oughta try BMR for the zombii killing. Also, this was designed for use against the standard UT04 monsters. (Actually I just haven't tried it with other monsters yet )
Unfortunately, there is no bot support. I might implement that later though. |

Yeah, you could always just lower the amount of recoil, but thats not really a big problem in this map.

I have, but that takes out the tactics and patience requirement of BW. It's not about using the weapons well, it's using the weapons well in their most natural configurations. Although, I'm willing to try this out, since it's been tested. By the way, maybe I just don't recognize the abbreviation, but what is BMR? |

"Blue Moon Rising".. i have it.. better than LAD.. which was a bunch of screwed up Unreal 1 and UT99 characters with retarded skins.. map looks good X
one day, we'll make decent invasion game..

I tried it, and only found one problem... the monsters are hard to see... but that's not a problem that we can fix very easily unless we made new versions of the monsters in OSM... |

It's the Gasbags in the air and the Skaarj on the ground mainly. The Krall are easy to see however. |

Ah, yes... those air based monsters are rather annoying in this map... As for the skaarj, I just look for the source of all those glowey projectiles
