Before I judge your maps, I need to know if you ever had a mapping tutorial or not.

A tutorial can bring you a big step forward and I advise you to try one.

It's an usefull tutorial but progress in it has been abandoned by the creators. If you need help with something you cannot find, I might have the answer for it.

The idea behind Steel Arena is very nice, a large open room with a small hill in the middle. It can become a very cool map.

oh what do you think of all weapons Mainly i made that map as a way to test weapons, mainly Bw with enchanced , and steel arena has a Enchanced Reedmer in the middle with the Sar and M50 on either side
My focus for maps is not quality but Simplicity, I want to make fun and simple maps to play on for average Deathmatch maybe Capture the flag and other game types but that it, though recomend allweapons for invaision , small lan party, or bots

ah I see, simple maps can be fun too, but a little looks cant hurt.

All Weapons is a test map to test all weapons? I've made loads of maps for just trying out the works of things in the Editor. Try Karma actors and physic volumes can be great fun.

Raising water? Again, it's a bStatic=True thing, so it's not able to be done. I've actually done it, but the map becomes unplayable outside of IA. Literally, the map will simply crash.

You can SIMULATE rising water by having lots of water volumes and then having them activate in order with a trigger system, but that'd be pretty damn hard, so hard you'd rather not mess with that crap.

volumes cant move?

I've seen several maps with raising water, I think there is an easy way.

The only way people can get around that is by making a specific volume that allows for bStatic to be True by default. That means coding work.

BTW, like I said before, my map does moving water, but it's not playable online, only on IA because I did the Notepad trick.
