This is for all you guys who have a PC and a PC Copy of UT3(sorry they're not cooked for the PS3) This is the spot to get a ton of New models for UT3, Unfortunately since I Have a 5200 they look relatively ugly if I show them to you
http://www.evilengine.net/forum/ But heres the catch you have to register with the forums to get them
(probably because some of the models are Gow, Crysis, and Halo(*sorry no halo ut, yet so no covenant, just good ole master chief)). also there is another spawn now that is available to the public..... found here: http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=601612 and here: http://skincity.beyondunreal.com/?secti ... fos&id=669 also heres an extra model not made by EE : http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=596770 Also he's working on Skaarj for UT3. With that said, Enjoy. |

Seems to me there isn't a terribly large population of UT3 fans here. |

maybe because they have the rig and are too lazy to buy it , but hey i bought it and I'm enjoying it heck i even uninstall UT04 because its that good,(even though i have 5200 Gtx )
but seriously people are still posting ideas for guns, for BW and well theres absolutely no point what so ever, BW is finished, with the exception of Kelly's new guns that about sums up the RS team at the moment, lazy |

Lets not start this again, Darkonxy, its just a false assumption over a group of people. Lets face it, this forum doesn't have many avid UT3 players, so there won't be much interest in a UT3 website. |

There is no such thing as opinions in Darkonxy's world, just facts created by him. But now we are going to go back on topic. So either discuss Evil Engine's stuff or simply leave the thread alone. |

I do play UT3, but i cannot install models due to the new "system" of putting models in. Why can't epic keep the old system in? it was ten times better than going through folder after folder just to put a map in. So No UT3 for me, just good ol' UT2004 and BW. |

To be perfectly honest it makes more sense to have all the downlaoded stuff in one folder and vanilla in another. Most downlaoded files also have stuff in the right place already and it just requires copying and pasting one file. And with models all you have to do is copy and paste a line of code. Makes more sense and is simpler... to me anyway... |

I like both, But BW has awful Netcode..Laggy as all hell on the server side, Hit a weapon locker it hitches. Ut3 is more fluid. I have tried everything to get rid of the Weapon locker lag and even asked for a precache for it with no avail, I like Ut3 cause we have some great coders and Mappers over at Hedsteem which will make our experience much more exciting. Just my 2 Cents. I don't care what anyone plays. |

Let's not forget that this forum is for a UT2004 mod. The population of people here with UT3 is bound to be low. Though nice find on the models, I'm using the Crysis nanosuits now. |

I tried it..didn't like it. Of course I might not have liked it because my rig isn't exactly "Gaming material" nowadays, as soon as I finish my new gaming pc Ill be set and give it a real try. No promises though I didn't like the demo one bit even when my fps was good enough to play. |

The game feels more complete the more you download. If you want to improve the feel of the game i would reccomend the motion blur mod and action cam. Of course maps help too! |

I thought UT3 sucked really. I dislike the movement system (I play with either UT2k4 style, or HL2 style), the weapons are just plain boring (why can't they add more weaps and make for something of a higher tiered AR at the least?), and the modability for m would drop to zero. That and my computer ran it like the original Doom, but where I can't see anything from too dark graphics (even with max brightening). |

![]() No, I had to set the graphics down to that level to run at 20 FPS. That's not good... I run UT2k4 with maxed out everything at over 25 (and slightly lower at 30+). |

Wait, you got sprites for the entities in UT3? You know, if you want to make a comparison for bad graphics, you should chose something other than Doom.
You look at other games that were out at the same time as Doom, and you'll find that surprisingly, Doom has some of the best graphics out there for the early FPSs that use sprites for entities. |

I have the UT3 demo and it is verryy good. This means the full version will be even better. The vehicles in ut3 are like 10 times better than ut2004 |

Well, it wasn't THAT bad to go worse than Doom. Anyways, I was still with 3D models, it was just at 320 resolution... |

System Shock kicked the living shit out of Doom 1/2 in terms of scale and graphics. |
