Edit- Well, i got rid of it, it deleted all of my Single Player Files.

its OK I suppose. Bit fast paced for my likeing (which is why I love BW). However, I did think that the ability to aim in 3rd person was a very god idea. Tried it out with the BW loadout mutator and found the guns shoot a little lower than the crosshair, plus no aiming with scopes (ironsights only).

Freaking annoying, bots are too damn good and am hating the reduced speed.

I'd liked it, just hated it for deleting my Single player files, and i lost DM-CBP2-Aristotle, just from Gunreal.

If Dario D. reads this (maybe) these are bugs.

Yeah, after i started up gunreal at 7:30, they're all gone. Made me angry. Now i have to do all over again.

Wow Gunreal really sucks. I like the buy system... but thats about it. Guns look really generic, the attacks are rather uninteresting...

I'll try it later when its no longer beta though, I don't want to think this is the finished thing, though if its any indication, I don't think I'm gonna like it.

the models are 'high quality' generic sci fi, which is funny to say, but I think you get what I mean. the gunreal weapons are what we should have had for the original UT2k4 stock weapons. fast, meaty, and borderline excessive. it isn't Ballisitics, but ballistics is a different style anyway. the beta, being a beta, is a tad twitchy and crash prone for me, but it will be great when its done.

Ugh. I just hate it, he sent too much time on the weapons and not enough on the actually movement and crap.

So darn sluggish.

I'll be checking this out when I got more free time to spare, just to see what all the (negative) fuss is about.

Bjossi- Yes, but it's also part of the UT2004 family, so whatever i do in Gunreal, it does in Vanilla UT2004.

Yeah, that actually seems to fit the description quite nicely. Feels like they could've been the stock weapons for some sort of MP arena game, so I guess if that was his aim, he hit true, but still, I can't get past the looks of those weapons. They just seem so... weird. They don't really look like anything in particular, and if you were to just lay them on the ground without labeling them, I wouldn't have a clu what any of them are supposed to be other than maybe the minigun, which I admit kinda looks cool, but I dunno.

Quite some work in there but the reduced speed made me check the game speed. (@,@) The weapons aren't very interresting. At least in first person view they all look chubby and just round pipes. :/ Why in God's name does the shotugn need to be reloaded manualy?? I could not tell that the acid gun was an acid weapon if I didn't read the text. A fry sound should be heard when the liquid hits something, at least walls and floor. And it would be fore interresting to shoot a stream of liquid instead of glass bullets. I just thought that it was a glass shooting gun when watching the mega trailer. :/ The blasma rifle does not feel like an energy weapon. The ball moves in a very slow arc and somehow does not look plasmy and energyy when detonating. The rocket FX was nice. The secondary fire of the biggest weapon was a bit interresting. The possiblility of shooting bodies is great, why can't it be in BW? :3

I kinda liked the manual cocking of the shotgun, adn the secondary of the biggest weapon was indeed interesting, not sure if I like it or not, but it is interesting.

I think I can agree with you on pretty much all of on this.

What about shooting bodies though? Like gibbable corpses or soemthing? I didn't really mess around much with it.

Shooting bodies (may they just move, get decales or gib) is for me as important and obvious as blood decales. I shoot something I expect it to leave a blood spurt on the wall. I shoot a body with an explosive thing I expect it to gib just as much as if it would have done if it were alive.

the installer wont work it just says searching for applications that need to be closed first and it dosnt do anything so hopefully theres a zip ill try again soon

We are all use to the Magesticness of Ballistic Weapons, maybe this is why we dont like the feel of gunreal. It certainly is different in a lot of ways.

The weapons.... are like said, unidentifiable by sight. Most of them look like they could be any type of gun. The time spent on the mod looks as if it could have spent in making certain things better..... less odd.
