pretty basic sci-fi'sh shape, looks interesting. could use more detail though. I would give the grip a better shape(it just looks awkward) and give the back of the rifle some more.... detail(better shape?). you guys need to learn how to render or download a program that can render models, yes im a little crazy about modeling. lol |

Damn it, why is it that everyone else can come up with good designs?? Even this simple thing is better than most things I figure out. (x,x) |

U need to draw your inspiration from someplace. MMM seen lots of guns on youtube and such, so he knows what he's modelling. Nice gun m8 |

it may not look too good but that’s just because i'm not good at modelling yet. i have just learned how Maya works and this is my first real model that looks like something at least. indeed i could change the design a bit, but if i were able to create a skin it would also look better. but unfortunately i don't know how to create the skin. i haven't learned it yet.

just keep working on it, you'll get better in no time. Google "UV map tutorials in Maya" or something, that will get you started on creating a skin. |

well, it ain't so bad, but it needs work. and talking about work, i'm busy working on a SMG with a drum magazine. i’m using pictures of the PPSh-41, The Thompson and the MP-5 as inspiration. |

Pretty nice, but that stock looks... very short. You either need to make it way longer, or make it an elbow stock. Or whatever they call that... |

the stock may be a bit short, but then also is the MP-5s stock. but it would indeed look better if it were to be extended

Note one thing about the stock. It looks like it can be extended all the way to your shoulder, which it basically can. Reason for this is because the clip is far enough forward to have a stock extend inside the main tube of the gun. Your gun has almost no room for such a thing. |

That bit there is what annoys me about the XK2. It looks like it's supposed to have an extendable stock, but it doesn't. |
