Post subject:  Rendering & Animating a mobile ICBM Platform

I've been working on this today, it's not even near done though. What I'm trying to make is a (fantasized) vehicle that's capable of transporting and launching an ICBM. Here's what i got so far:

EDIT: Forgot to mention, this will be a small animation. Like the animations in CoD4 loading screens where you get to see the specs of a vehicle in 3D, i will do the same here. Also, it will launch the missile and i will animate the impact and explosion of it.

It is really nice. it would be cool see one thing like this in ut2004, sort of moving base. without the missile, obviously :P

Oh! You're so close to the concept I've been designing here :). I'm not sure if you have ever played Tiberian Sun, but it will be a little similar to that. See, the vehicle I'm designing here (and the following ones) will be designed to travel over 'Tiberian Sun like' environments. Which means: desert with a flat dried ground, rocks over the place, etc.
