Compatibility: UT3 latest patch PC, PS3 (soon)

Description: Origionaly built as a lighthouse by an ancient civilisation, this behemoth structure now serves a very different purpose. Despite being neglected for thousands of years it is still in pristine condition. I wonder how long it will take some rockets and a few flack shells to change that...

Howdy Guys! Finally I have released an Update for this map.The reason it took so long is because I recently picked up a couple of awesome games: Fallout 3 and left 4 dead. However, I have taken up work on this again, as well as about 5 other projects, and ti is coming along very nicely!

Alpha 2 is hugely different to the first version as should be apparant from the pics. By no means am i scratching the island theme, i will even leave the download up. However, after numerous playtests I had come to the conclusion it just didn't feel right! After a while I came up with this. It seems to work well at the moment so I thought i would throw out something new for you guys.

Tell me what you think of the new version and if you prefer it or not!

coolio :D Well this is only an Alpha so please say absolutely anything and everything that you think could do with changing adding! Should I stick with a relatively clean low detail look or do you think this would benfit from being more cluttered?

ATM im not sure which direction to take this in terms of theme. I have a base but I could go several ways with it it. Should I take the path of alien strucutre with windows that look into high tech labs and the such, should i go ancient civilisation, or should I go modern acrhitecture with lots of fancy lights?

Also in terms of layout what do yyou think could do with/needs changing, are weapons badly placed, should armour be mroe spread out? Blah blah, blah blah?

The Only thing that I have been experiencing is lag, probably be my computer.

I would love to see a fuse of Ancient with High tech.

Really? LAG? On this map? Do the stock ones lag at all because I would be shocked if this did so and they didnt.

And Ancient high tech is the theme im going with :D

ah...

Well tell me what you think of these ideas!

- small (inaccessable) rooms with frosted glass (maybe something else)windows.

- Different lightschemes the higher/lower you go

- more machinery sounds on bottom floor

Also! Do you have any ideas on a trim I could use around the edge of the island? I want something better that the wall i have at the moment.

Or should I get rid of the Island completely and make this structure in a rainforest (emphasize ancient/high tech theme) this would also give me more choice of decorations such as hanging plants and the such.

Or should I Keep ocean theme but instead of island add a base for the structure (more BSP)

Please If you have any ideas please shout em out (Not just SX)

Why not have the modern tech building build in an ancient ruin... which covers the island and continues into the water.

Adding plants on the island itself might cheer things up too.

Inaccesable rooms might confuse players, but can be a way to bring detail.

More sounds :D sounds bring great atmosphere.

Variation in light keeps the map interresting and if you have a lightscheme for each floor players won't get lost that fast.

Lowest part of the map in complete ancient style, the top part complete tech style. In the middle, is mixed. That'll give the feeling that the structure really has been build right on top of the ancient structures.

:D !!! Love your ideas bulska! Especially about ruins leading down to the water! That will really enhance the visuals, gameplay and theme!

Hey guys! Only recently got back to work on this and I am trying a new layout for the ground floor.

Not much changed apart from the obvious. None of the ideas mentioned above have been put into practice yet but remember! This map is in very early stages!
