Heres a couple pics of my Hungarian military police pistol. FEG manufactured PA-63, Hungarian version of the makarov. I call it a james bond gun. 
Then here is my ww2 Russian M1895 Nagant revolver. Designed in belgium but built and issued by the soviet union (GAH MOTHERLAND) I want to so i could be a russian cowboy. |

not really, wish i did. Its not the cheapest ammo in the world. 762x38r is hard to get. But aparently .32 s&w longs will work in it too. |

revolvers are a bit more versatile than the pistols, but does shortest ammo will cause some damages to the weapon ? |

Eh when you use a shorter cartridge than the cartridge made for the gun, can it cause "injuries" to the weapon ? |

It can damage the weapon yes, lots of times it wont, but ive seen it. Also using shorter ammo in revolvers causes them to foul up quite a bit more than if you were using the normal ammo. |
