This is the weapon Malcome uses at the start of the book (inspired by Valentine (Ivy from soul calibers main weapon))

Why?
The "chain knife" (not final name, will change later) can be used similar to a whip, however works best by swinging in large arcs. In an enclosed area the weapon is used as a knife and a fiber wire (good for gruesome deaths :D). Also like the sword the chain knife is almost indestructible! (Yay!)
Symbol
If you are wandering (I doubt that you are) the symbol on the blade is a symbol of loss (hence the rough skull shape)
(every weapon symbol means something different (is this important to the story? Bwaa ha ha har! you shall not know until I finish it!).

The knife itself looks to lightweight compared to that huge heavy chain, doubt that it will do any good this way, try to make blade look heavier. 8)

It is an enchanted blade (forgot to mention :S), anyhoo it slices through metal like a hot chainsaw through butter (quick and is really messy ;))

P.P.S Also the blade is supposed to be multi-chromatic, but I cannot get that on pro-desktop ;)
