I cracked that can open earlier today...all I gotta say is WOW that is some nice clean look ammo. Steel cased, full copper jacket, steel core, 196 grain bullet, 1974 production. Its very nice lookin ammo and ive heard very good things about it.

So are you going to put it in the 'preserve' collection, or are you gonna go squeeze some rounds off at the range? This ammo looks real good! :)

Some buddies and I finally managed to start up a shooting team at my uni, and sadly, we have to start with the old .22 rounds. I really want to move up to 5.56x45mm and 7.62x54mm. I miss shooting rifles of those caliber.

I only collect certain types of ammo. This stuff is pretty common right now and i bought it to shoot it.

Nothin wrong with .22 they are some of the funnest rifles around.

Well, its just that shooting .22 after a 7.62mm is a little odd. One time I thought I had a stoppage when I squeezed the trigger and didnt feel recoil/kickback. I turned around to my spotter and asked him if I'd fired. He said I did. Plus when I shoot .22's for a long time and then switch to 5.56 or 7.62 its a bit of a pain to readjust to the recoil.

However, I'd really love to see some company turn out a .22 gatling gun. That would be pretty hilarious. Or a machine gun using .22 for that matter. You could totally do the Predator 1/Terminator 2 thing.

They do make .22 machineguns and gattling guns. You have to have a class 3 firearms license to own them. But they exist.

I find it easy to adjust from 22 to 7.62. Not that bad for me.

I wonder how those .22 gattling guns cool down... :) It'd be sick to own one of those things.

just like a normal one, the barrels spin and as they spin they cool off.
