Post subject:  UT3 Music: Custom Mixes. Updated. 5/11/10
UT3 uses dynamic music that changes during the couse of game. and each sound sample is about a minute long. by using a program called Audacity, i can arrange these Music pieces to form a single song.
(these songs are NOT from the Official CD, but are taken from the Game files and arranged in audacity)

To the Death. Codename:Diesel : i'm happy with this one. the Song had 2 versions. the full song (Which sound different from the CD version) and Ambiant. the full song is split in two by 1:26 and back again by 2:50.

Skylab 9000. Codename Astrolab 8000: unlike the one from the CD, this one uses more Ambient pieces but still uses the "Action" bits as well. also, this song is an older version. i choose the wrong one. x) so it might get deleted and replaced.

Coret. the transition 1:03 is a little awkward, but i kind of like the rest of it it. i plan to make another one and it will include stingers. also, victory theme repeats twice.

why yes. :)
i gotta put them in ZIP. format and find a good download site.
also, you should try doing some of these yourself. it rather simple and the individual music files can offer many different combination's. 8)

my next mixes i will upload is Skyward Fire, Coret, Strident and plasma oscillator.
i also added the codenames that was used during the mixing to avoid confusion when download link is ready.

Especially the Skylab 9000, but that's only because it fits my taste of music more than the others. The other ones are very nice too :D

Strident feels very 'mad sciency', like scheming music.

i now have Firestorm up! and that was pretty difficult to mix IMO.
the links for Diesel is up and as a Bonus: i was searching my music folder i came across Nightvison and Isotoxin from Unreal but these versions are Different. hear for your self!

What can I say? These are great, and Audacity FTW.
But doesn't an OGG extractor tool extract full versions of songs from the .upk files?

As far as I know, UT3 music is dynamic... so it has multiple versions of the song, which changes depending on the mood of the player's surroundings.

Yup, like all Things in UT3, it's more complicated, but compared to making certain other things, it's a piece of cake.. :doh:

I'm not a big fan of UT3's music, maybe one or two, but i'm sure this will be very usefull to people who like them... Good Work! :handgestures-thumbupright:

Like the old Unreal 1 music which we broke up.. We then listened to the action parts of the tracks, like the music from Serpent canyon, or Gala's peak, even Sunspire was cool.. :banana-dance:

i have Prepared Three more songs for Download after Moving things to my new Computer. (and Procrastinating Afterwords ;D )
the Songs are Strident, Plasma Oscillator, and Frozen Babylon.
i plan to do a Mix Track of all the UT1 Songs into a single, Probably 10-20 Minute song once i finished with UT3 Mixes.
and BE, is it the GIF itself or does it Slow Down your Internets?

Woo! Mechanism 8 is one of the better songs from the original. I particularly like the Lockdown mix you've done, though I can't help but notice that GoDown is missing...?
