This is my first attempt at a full skin on a 3D object(the trigger of the rifle is not skinned), while i see it needs work... my goal was to get it working ingame in an engine. Which was successful besides the fact that i cant pick up the weapon in said engine without the game crashing(it just floats in place of another weapon waiting to be picked up). The engine is Dim3 which i've mentioned in the past(free, easy to use, and comes with everything you need to create your own game- Animator, level editor, and the engine). I rigged my model and animated it, but my lack of knowledge in java scripting is keeping me from fully implementing the weapon ingame. Unreal Editor is not available in mac OS X so... yeah =/ Anyways, it feels good to be a noob who is actually learning, even if it means slowly. comments? ![]()

I don't know about the capabilities of that engine, so it looks a bit undetailed. However, it's good for a first try! (And better than what I could do.) |

Yes, you can find it here if you haven't found the real site already. The beta comes with a demo game with scripts, objects, animations(for the objects and textures), maps, etc. Post at the forum if you have any questions, a few people there have some pretty interesting projects started(a new Marathon game, paintball game, etc). |
