So, instead of filling up other threads with my models, i decided to make a whole new, and improved thread filled to the brim with amateur modeling and waffle goodness!!! :D

Enjoy.
So far, i think there is a Rifle, just made up.
SVI-Infinity
G36

The G36 and the Rifle are pretty old, so if they suck. Then i'll fix them up later.
SVI is probs my best so far. Just adding small details and fixing up problems.

Be harsh with criticism. Don't leave anything out.

Finally, Enjoy. :D

let me start by saying AAWWESOMEEE!!!!!!

Thats what you call killing power!

The sniper rifle looks really good
Bolt Action

P.S is that a Intervention?

Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

Just because something is bolt action doesn't mean it's an Intervention. ;)

That pistol is looking pretty friggen' good if I may say so myself. The G36 and sniper rifle look low detail in comparison though. I would recommend going over those again with a fine tooth comb for maximum good looks.

Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

Ok. I will add onto the models of the Rifle and the G36, but thanks guys. I'll continue to update this thread with pics. Although there will probably be a pause of creations around December - February because i will have to send my computer away. I am part of a
two man group making a game. So when i create sufficient new shiz, it might be posted up here.

Oh and BTW, the Sniper is actually made up, so don't try to google M11 Scout, although it will probs come up with a gun...

If you are interested in the game, it will probably be on mac, and if we can figure out how, on windows to.
Zombie theme, Free roam. First Person.

Thats all i am allowed to say, because i don't really know what else we are going to do! :D

Very good models, especially the pistol.

I may have to 'borrow' that trigger design on that one.

No probs.

Does anyone know a good free engine we can use for our game? Currently we are thinking of using Unity, but any suggestions are welcome. As long as the engine is not Dim3. XP

UDK looks nice. Is it easy to code?
+ In the middle of modeling a Sig Sauer P226. Stay Tuned

Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

It's easy to code if you know about Unreal Script, most similar language, ah Java I guess, but it's a very simplified programming language compared to C++ and others, it's more friendly for beginners... :)

You'll have fun getting a grip on the technology required though!, but i'd certainly suggest it.. ;)

Hardware intensive? Lame. Trading up computers next year, so maybe then!

Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

Ok, So right now, the game will be focused around small arms, which is more realistic in a city or town. Although, there will be more powerful unique weapons, scattered around secret military bases hidden in forrest, which are of course, full of zombies, and raiders ;)

Be looking forward to a Milkor MGL, Barret 50.cal and a FLAG POLE! More pistols on the way. SMG's as well.

But be warned, this project will take some time, because we are basically creating a town, with a forrest, city like area, underground bases and some 'burbs. Dont worry though, Me and my friend are off to a strong start!

Yum! Another update. So far i have scrapped the Sig Sauer, because it was just too damn hard, and i restarted the model several times, and after a week of solid work on it, it still looked crap. Sorry if i got anyone excited. ;)

Ok, Remington 700 on the way, Baby Eagle (Jericho 941), Mossberg 500 and MP7 are all in production.

MGL is finished, here are some pics, and i also finished a Masada/Bushmaster ACR

Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

Crossbow you say ? You want a cool model to base it on or you have the exact Idea for it ?
And good work BTW

Author:  waffle shake [ Thu Nov 25, 2010 1:46 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

Dont really have an exact model yet. Its going to be compound, and have a scope.

Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

Yeah like most crossbows out there I will post you crossbows and tell me what's the prettiest between these.

Wow, those are a lot of weapons. Good luck. Are you going to be animating and texturing these for your game as well?

On pack related stuff, that MGL is looking mighty fine. I can definitely see it kicking butt in Unreal. ;)

Author:  waffle shake [ Sat Nov 27, 2010 4:31 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Waffle's Works.

Well, i will do some animating, but so far i have only successfully animated one of the many weapons. Still new to animating in blender. As far as texturing goes, my partner in this project will do most of it. He can also do animations quite fast.

Really, he is doing mostly everything apart from models. Scripting, Texturing, Animating.

Anyway, the project will be in full gear, next year. This is because we still need to plan out story, progression, health systems, Maps, and basically everything else. Everything is really in idea format.

So be looking forward to this game next year. Hopefully this actually gets finished ;)

Also, we have a name, but it is a little bit cheesy. Deadsystem.

Any ideas?
