Bots never use the G5 lock on….

Nah, it's just a bit more chatty... Bots are supposed to say stuff like "master, there be a sniper on yon hillock!" (and then run around aimlessly when you voice-order them to go over to yon hillock and eliminate ye sniper).

Btw, the bots aren't so bad with the G5, especially on tight maps. And yeah, they blow themselves (and teammates) up sometimes but that's actually kinda cute, makes them more 'human'. Always funny to hear people yell "same team!!" when they've been completely vaporized, or just got their head shot off.

anyway bots dont need locking feature they seem to be pretty accurate with the standard fire

They are horribly inaccurate. The only time a bot can kill you with a G5 is if its 4 feet away from you, or you run into it.

bots on ur own team seem to have at least 50% chance of hitting you with a g5...but i just get them back later

The bots suck with the 1.72 G5, but if the bots learn to use the new 2.0 alt. fire feature effectively, I'll be very impressed.

2.0 has been in beta testing for a while now, DC is working on a nasty flamethrower bug & a few smallish ones, and then I think it'll be ready for a release.

That must be one vicious bug, so far as I know the flamer has been in devilment for far longer then the rest of the new weapons in 2.0
