Remember the old "screen flipping out" bug on macs and Linux?

Well, I don't know if anyone else has experianced this, but I think when there is too much blood, I start getting a load of strange colours projected everywhere.
They look a bit like disco lights.
The only problem is, when the blood fades, The "Disco blood" doesn't go away, so I still get loads of strange colours hitting my screen.
It's fine if you quit and restart the match... until too many people die again XD

I do get that problem, its just random at times.

The only problem I get with the blood is when I shoot a guy in the face with a G5 and I cant see anything because my screen is splattered with blood.

Ok... this could go to new topic but i dont want to overflow your nice lil forum. So here it goes:

Blood in BW is gorgeous... i just love it. And if i set it to never fade away whole map afret some time gets that real nasty look. Thats cool if i am fighting only humans... The thing is that when there are some robots and aliens, map gets that disco feel. Even more if there is G5 and its blood art all over the walls. My suggestion here would be to disable that alien glow... normal green would be fine. And as for the robot blood ... maybe kinda oil black? Or that stock purple color. And for sure, more sparks when it comes to tearing the gibs. Thats the suggestion... and now my problem with BW...

is it possible to turn off weapons inside BW mutator... i mean... i would like to play with classic ut2k4 weapons (got used to them) but still to have that motion blur, big explosions, blood...

Bloody Hell kinda works... i have maps all covered in blood, but flak cannon cant make the enemy explode even from 1m distance. Same goes for rocket launcher, lightning gun, shock combo, bio-rifle full alt fire.

I tired in swaping options not to swap any weapon, but i still get BW ones.

If that is not possible, will there be Bloody Hell 2 mutator?

A screenshot may help us to understand the blood bug. You could try reduced gor options and see if that makes a differect.

As for BW gore and UT weapons, the best way is to just use the 'Bloody Hell' mutator. We tried to get it working for all UT weapons, but for some reason, it just didn't work with some and with time running out before v2.0's release, we had more important features to work on. You could try the other Bw mutators and adjust the lists to include only UT weapons.

No need for screenshot. Blood has no bug. Its just that alien blood kinda glows... even in darkest corridors its really visible... kinda glows green. I understand thats how alien blood looks like but the thing is, if i blew couple of aliens with G5 whole map is glowing. Add some more of human red, and robot blue... and there it is... disco feel map. So, maybe darker green (without glow) and oil black of robots would look better, and ppl wouldnt complain about that so called disco feel.

As for BW weapons... ive been searching actually for new blood textures and found BW2.0 video on youtube. I liked the options, and just yesterday downloaded W2.0 so i really dont know much about it and heavent tried all the options yet.
As for other Bw mutators, there are as far as i remember: Loadout, sprint, BW, Bloody Hell and BW arena. What i want is UT weapons with BW gore, and motion blur. I guess all i need is BW mutator, but none of UT weapons swapped for BW ones. Somehow that doesnt work. Could be a bug, or something... But never mind...

Is there gona be Blody Hell 2? Since BW2.0 is now out and u guyz dont need to rush ur time with releasing anything.

I'm sorry but I think I can tell the difference between glowing alien blood and a whole load of random glitchy lines spamming my screen, when it next happens, I'll get a shot.

Since you are on a Mac, you are screwed if this bug relates to that platform in any way.

I don't think it is. I rarley get the problem, but I do understand the problem. It happens on extremly large maps, with multible explosions and deaths.
