i thought to myself "well i tried going the honest way"
i pulled out a needle and injected Kelly with my own special concoction he went down with out a fuss "im sorry Xavious you too" i flung the needle at him and the fake blood flew everywhere and fell to the floor unconsious in a death like state they both were i whispered in his ear "i'm sorry kelly but you know Betruger was up to no good think hard and well about that when you wake up i put a needle in his hand "this is for xavious i gave him the same concoction this just speeds the waking proccess"
i open my keypad and pressed a few buttons and poof they dissappered they were teleported to my ship complements of my Cryon technologies
then i continued on my keypad locking the ship down and placed in autopilot destinaition ..Earth "this is my war now" i clenched my fist and walked to the teleporter

Kelly woke up with a start. They were in a storage room of some sort.

"Whuh?" The sarge rubbed his noggin and looked down at his palm. A needle. "Drugged." He muttered.

Checking his pockets, he was happy to find his PDA still there. He turned it on. A tracking beacon would help the UAC locate him.

"Let's see if I can get a radio signal..." The PDA's wireless interface patched into the ship's communication system. Kelly tapped in the UAC frequency and spoke into his headset. "This is Sergeant Kelly of the UAC. Does anybody read me."

"Yes, sir. This is Private Renton of the UAC military. What's the situation?" It was a male voice.

"I've been kidnapped, a Cryon/Skrith hybrid drugged me and took me aboard his ship. Track the PDA to my location and send a Battle Cruiser ASAP."

"Yes, sir. Right away, sir."

"Good, over and out."

Kelly put down the PDA. There were only five UAC Battle Cruisers ever constructed. They were the size of a small moon and could destroy a small planet. Darkonxy's ship would be toast.

i continued to through the portal and infiltrated betruger's office "how did you" "i did"
i shot him in the arm and he droped to the floor trying to stop the bleeding
" youre a dead man Darkonxy"
"no your the dead man"
i walked away and walked back to the labs and sliced into a door opened it and i walked into the room , it was filled with cryons and those hellish creatures
i walked up to a command console and pressed the purge button all except one, there was a human i got him out and spiked him with a revive sedative
and then teleported him to a UAC Destroyer i then walked back to the comand consle and hacked into its system and ordered a portal overload unfourtunately i can't access any more so i opened my keypad and pressed a few buttons and poof i was gone, i then focused my concentraition on a ship off the UAC Destroyers i then farcasted in a ship and it seemed i was in a cargo bay i hid and hoped no one would find me, yet i felt somthing goey on the floor i took my hand off the floor and stared at it , the material was not of my world nor skirth the stringey slime slid from my fingers and hit the floor then a black silouette stood in the background letting off a hiss "Great out of the frying pan into the fire

P.s Kelly my character at the moment is far far off from the Uac Destroyers but you assume im still on the planet and you see a big explosion take it from there.

I woke to the sound Kelly's voice talking into his radio. "What the hell happened to me?"

I turned my neck and felt a sharp pan. I reach down and pull out a needle. "How in the hell did someone manage to get past my armour to stick me with this...?"

I saw Kelly walk out of this room. "Hey, hold up!"

He turned to me and growled, "What's your problem? If you wouldn't have been so damn paranoid we wouldn't be in this mess."

"You tried to mill my team! What did you expect me to do? Just sit there and agree with you?"

"You could have started by trusting me over whatever that other thing was."

"Fair enough. Now I offer you my trust though. At least until we get out of here, where ever 'here' is." I offered my hand to Kelly.

Will Kelly offer his trust to Xavious, even after he just tried to kill him, or will he just continue his plan without letting Xavious in on it? Only time (or rather, Sargeant Kelly) can tell!

OoC: Uh, I don't really know what to do now. Darkonxy just blew up the UAC.

I have to say, though, the MJ12 Trooper looks a lot cooler than the UNATCO one. Especially with that wicked Half Life blast door in the background.

You also said that the Destroyers were coming to 'smoke the planet'. Unless they had cigarettes, I think that pretty much dooms the UAC.

OoC: Uh, I'm just going to go back in time and pretend that Kelly was just knocked out when the Hellknight came through. It'll help clear things up.

Sergeant Kelly slowly got up, his ears were ringing and his vision was blurry. He gingerly touched his head. He felt blood.

Staggering to his feet, Kelly looked up. A Hell Knight stared back at him.


"Ahhhhh!" Kelly yelled as it swiped its massive claw at him. He flew into a nearby wall and felt something crack.

He looked to where both Xavious and Darkonxy were, they were unconscious. Or dead. Whipping out his shotgun, Kelly fired shell after shell close-range into the beast. It staggered back and clenched its fist, blue flames swirled around it.

The massive blue fireball it threw would have decimated the sarge if he hadn't leapt out of the way. His singed armor smelled of brimstone and ash. His visor's lifesign readout displayed the number 4. It normally was at 100. He couldn't win this fight alone.

Darkonxy, I'm going to give you some info on the situation as it was originally planned.


The current time in the BW story is set before all the events at the UAC started. The portal work is just beginning, Betruger isn't totally evil and there are no specimens in the labs. The work with the Cryon has ended due to the destruction of the facility on Demenix 2. Betruger doesn't have anything to do with them anymore.

What you're saying is that Betruger's evil and wants to kill Kelly for some reason, teleportation has existed for decades, the labs are filled with Cryon specimens somehow, the UAC is a horrible illegal company and the Skrith lived on Mars for millions of years.

i came to and said to him "Kelly you know just as well

I felt a a wave of heat wash over my face. I stood up and saw a massive beast leaning Kelly, who was on the ground.

I swung my chain at the beast, sinking the hook into his shoulder and giving it a pull. The beast fought it, but I pulled harder, tearing out a chunk of its flesh and freeing the chain.

The beast howled in pain and turned to face me. I stood about neck level to it. I looked it in the face, it stared back at me. It snorted and I felt its hot breath on my face. I bared my teeth and growled.

It grabbed me by my shoulder and started to pick me up. I grabbed his arm ripped his grip free of me, breaking his fingers in the process. I then punched it in the face and threw my chain around its neck. The creature screamed in unholy rage as I pulled the chain taut. The thing was pulling at the chain around its neck with both hands. I brought its face close to mine.

"I don't care what the hell you are, but if you plan on laying a hand on any more humans, you're as good as dead.'

The hell knight, not understanding, was growling, but that soon turned to a hissing as I pulled tighter and tighter.

The creature stopped worrying about the chain and hit me across the shoulders, my armour keeping my head out of its swing. I was knocked off balance, losing grip of the chain and giving the creature a chance to get free and start pummeling me with its massive fists.

"You're insane..." Kelly coughed as he looked at Darkonxy. "None of this would've happened if you hadn't interrupted!"

Kelly grabbed the AM67 that had been fastened to the Security Bot. He fired the clip of stunners into the back of the Hell Knight's head. It staggered a bit.

The massive beast fell forward, landing on me. I threw its bulk off me and stood up.

I hear a noise behind me. Off in the distance I see another imp. I run to it and start beating the imp to a bloody pulp.

i thought " screw it" i threw my needles and they both went out cold i snapped the imps neck like a toothpick i teleported them to a ship away from here
and then i went through the teleporter and hed back to delta labs and i purged the speciemens gone, i knew this wouldn't help buty it was worth a shot

The process of being teleported woke Kelly up. "Noo!" He yelled.

Kelly fired his shotgun at the rocks in the pentagram. One must have connected, because the teleportation stopped.

"Thank god." Kelly whispered as he shook Xavious awake.

"Whuh?" Xavious whispered.

"Darkonxy tried to teleport us out using the pentagram the Hell Knight came from, though I managed to stop him. I assume he's in the specimen bays. I'm going to radio the boys and have them bring him down."

"Well, what now? We have a, er, Hell Knight as you called it, downed. Think this might do instead of a wimpy little imp?"

"I think it'll do." Kelly smiled, "Let's head back to the teleportation site and get him outta here."

Upon reentering the site, Kelly noticed something was wrong. He pressed the radio tab on the PDA.

"Nothing but static, Darkonxy must have destroyed the radio."

"It looks like he did a number on the control panel also, we aren't going to get out this way."

"Well, it looks like we're going to have to work together to get out of here.
Oh, and sorry about the shooting earlier, you were holding me at gunpoint. "

"Great. How are we going to get out of here then? I really don't feel like dragging this thing around the entire time, and I have a sneaking suspicion those drugs are only going to last so long for something of this calibre.

And think nothing of the shooting. In fact, you won't have to worry about that again. If you even look like you'll do it again I'll simply kill you on the spot," I smiled and laughed.

Kelly frowned and aimed his pistol.

"Ey!" Xavious lifted his as well.

"Just kidding." Kelly smiled and lowered the gun. "Shall I kill it? I don't think we want it following us."

"Yeah, better kill it." Before Kelly had a chance to raise his gun to the hell knight I put my chainsaw's blade through its face.

I then removed the cargo chain from it and wrapped it around my shoulders.

Meanwhile, in the specimen containment section of Delta Labs, a group of soldiers were surrounding the door.

"On my go! Short, controlled bursts!"

"The subject has released the specimen containers, he's heading towards us now."

"Go, go, go!"

The platoon of soldiers opened fire as the security door opened. The spherical bullets tore into Darkonxy's armor. The platoon leader fired an EMP charge at the cryon/skrith hybrid, knocking out his control systems and teleportation linker. "Secure him!"

The large containment tank dropped down onto Darkonxy, sealing him in. The pressurized locks sealed into place and a heavy duty sedative filled the compartment. "Target secured."

Betruger watched from the cameras. "Excellent... "

Back in Hell...

Kelly and Xavious had passed the large destroyed pentagram. Three smaller ones had sprung up next to it.

"Watch your step, Xavious, these could activate at any moment."

"Fwoosh!" A gout of flame burst forth from the first of the pentagrams, Kelly shielded his eyes and stepped back. A strangely shaped creature leapt out. It had two heads and at least three legs. "Fwoosh! Fwoosh!"

Two more of the abominations stepped forth. Kelly quickly scanned one while Xavious revved his chainsaw. The PDA confirmed the creature to be a 'Maggot'.

"Hmm... Fitting name."

Kelly fired the shotgun at the first of the three, shredding its secondary head.

"Fwoosh! Fwoosh!"

Two more scampered out.

I turned my chainsaw to the freshly spawned beasts, I tore through both of them in one swing.

Stepping on the corpse of one of them I jumped and slammed my saw between the two heads of another maggot.

Meanwhile

i woke up with a hammer in my head
"trying to play a hero huh, unfortunately i have to take it from here"
the man removed his visor and smiled
"unless you want me filling up body bags for you"
"jack, Jack Redhammer what are you doing here?"
"i just dropped by let me take it from here they can at least trust me here"
"understood what of the you know"
"they been looking for you for months now , might as well get you out of this mess"
he pulled a charge from his backpack and gave me a gesture to back off i nodded and backed up
he planted it and detonated it , and pulled me out of the smoke and shouted "come on , best to get you out of here somebody would have heard that by now sir" he tossed me a battery "best recharge now cloak and leave"
"understood" i plugged the battery in and recharged and poof i cloaked and booked it to my ship and got the heck out of dodge

i stood there waiting and a couple of uac members showed up "you okay soldier , report"
"yeah im fine sir the bastard had some C4 and blew open the case and knocked my out and ran off"
"which way did he go?"
"i don't remeber , but he stole a battery from my backpack to recharge"
"crap this is getting out of hand should we extract kelly and the other soldier with them"
"yes best to do so now, you there whats your name son"
"Sargeant Jack B Redhammer reporting for duty sir!"
" i guess you are aware of the telporter am i correct"
"Yes Sir!"
"then i want you to retrieve kelly and the other soldier in there and meet me topside"
"Yes sir!"
this wasn't my first time going through the portal into that hellish wasteland and i was one of the few that survived the insainity and came out without a scratch, sad enough to say i have to go back there
"oh while your at it check whats up with the communications at the teleporter before you go in"
i understood and headed to the teleporter and check the communicaitions well Darkonxy you left a mess i found the problem and fixed it and found Kelly's locaition and shouted to him " this is Sargent Jack Redhammer do you copy, we have a breach in Speciemen lab alpha and need you topside repeat Speciemen lab alpha is breached"

The soldiers aren't allowed to go into Hell. The UAC commandos would also never tell a grunt about Hell.

The camera in the specimen labs would have spotted Jack Redhammer and the commandos and the turrets would have shredded him before he had a chance to even touch the containment pod.

The UAC now officially has a teleportation proof shield covering the outside. If you want to escape, you'll have to fight your way out.

uhh kelly do me a favor and don't mess it up and by the way the cameras were by passed as well and Jack is a higher ranking officier

Uhh... Darkonyx, we want to stay in hell, but you keep trying to drag us out. If you want to have your ow story arc, I don't really care, but could you please kinda do it without us? We just got to hell, and we kinda want to stay in there and fight our own way out hell, thats kinda what this story arc was supposed to be about.

Pumping his shotgun, Kelly put a shell into the remaining Maggot. It toppled over backwards, writhing in pain. He watched as the five deceased maggots burned to ash.

"Let's keep moving, I don't want to be here when another Hellknight comes through."

The pair continued on, dispatching the occasional imp and maggot until they came to a large door set in the wall of a cavern. It was vibrantly decorated with glyphs and pictures of battles and creatures. Kelly tossed a rock at it. No response. "Looks okay..."

Kelly walked towards the door. The moment his fingers touched its surface it began to glow red. The ground began to shake and rocks fell from the ceiling. The carvings on the door cracked and became obscure. A pentagram gouged itself out of the center of the door; glowing a bright, fiery red. "Get down!"

The moment the door opened, a Hellknight burst out. It let out a mighty roar before looking down at the two interlopers. Sergeant Kelly needed a new gun. He spied a UAC weapons crate from the corner of his eye. As Xavious blasted away at the beast with his shotgun, Kelly dove towards the crate.

"What the blazes are you waiting for, Sarge? Hurry up and get blasting this thing!"

I looked back and noticed the UTC crates Kelly was rummaging through. Between my shotgun blasts I asked, "Hey, there any mining gear in those crates?"

I fired one more shot at the hell knight and then my M763 was empty. "Crap. A little help any time now would be appreciated!"

Kelly threw Xavious a grenade and returned to his rummaging. "There we go!"

A UAC Rocket Launcher was buried at the bottom of the crate, Kelly lifted it out and fumbled with the clip.
