Are you RS guys gonna create a list or at least start adding to the Change-log to show us what IS in 2.0? because that would be mighty nice and would help the pain of having to wait for another month. Oh and in Ut2k7 the mini gun will totally be awesome!

I'm guessing most of the new weaps will be much better than the 2K4 ones (which suck bigtime). Everything looks cooler and feels more powerful in the demo vids. It will be interesting to see how BW adapts to this new high-quality environment.

A change log only takes about 5 or 10 minutes if you go extra slow. So... I think that may be a null point.

And I'm laughing at both Sundra and Becky on Survivor for taking 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the tiebreaker... even with matches at an hour in...

The same weapon bugs have been im all of the versioms. Beta testing hasn't helped up to this point.

UglyPants is right, learn to live with bugs. Some of them are hard enough to fix that it is not worth the trouble.

The only bug I see in the game is when you cock the M353, at the end of the animation it ends abruptly and the gun moves too fast to be realistic. It's just at the very end of that animation in FP perspective.

Yes, on many occasions. The high shot with Rail Gun and Sniper rifle have always been there. There was a problem with the mines, the grenade launcher on the Assault rifle and several others. All reported. None fixed. It may very well be that the problems are tough to resolve. What bothers me is that instead of fixing what they had, they developed more and more weapons. Did the mod really need more pistols, shotguns and machine guns before the basic stuff was right?

Err... I have no problems like what you say Grasshopper. My M50 works perfectly and the mines do too. On top of that, the rifles both work well. You may have messed around with a setting on BW to make it shoot off a little bit.

Yes, it most definitely did, and still does. Compared to most mods (and especially U4E), BW is virtually bug-free. There's only one bug that really bothers me (the 'minigun replacement bug' when you use BW's swapper), but that could be unique to my own version / mut setup / whatever. Maybe 2.0 will fix this, and if not I'll just suck it up and continue using WoRM instead of the BW swapper. To uninstall BW -or any mod, for that matter- because of some tiny little bugs is just silly, imo.

I think I have that same prob with the minigun, but its a rather minor bug that barely affects me. Nothing to uninstall it for.

Maybe those bugs are exclusive to your setup, maybe not, but I never noticed any bugs regarding what you mentioned.

I don't. I dunno about Grasshopper though. Seriously, that Minigun bug you guys have, I don't see, or I'm just that plain stupid. Is it where it prefers to give you the M353, then M925 after you have an M353? That's what happens to me.

Wasn't there a Magnum replacement bug a while ago? It was fixed, but RS simply forgot to remove that when releasing a new version (I think it was 1.71) since they beta tested the Magnum in-game.

Oh yeah, that X49 that you never could have since it was simply not there... That's not a bug, that's just simply extra code!

ok.. we have a couple bugs.. i think that minigun one might be fixed in 2.0..

other bugs: the m50 grenade one in network games, found and fixed in 2.0...

and now we come to this rail-high crap.. seriously, we have tested this thing to hell and back and have never seen it! Grasshopper reported it several times, but we just could not find it.. maybe its fixed in 2.0.. if anyone comes across it, please help!!

on another note: people are extremely quick to point out the flaws in anything, and just ignore everything that may have been fixed/improved.. take v1.6 for eg.. many complained about the few small problesm with it, but didnt say a thing about how stable it was, or how many bugs were fixed.. just some 2 cents
v1.7 was stable as hell, and only the ocasional minor bug.. 2.0 has cured most or all of those, and when beta rolls out, then any other bugs can be crushed out

Dude, those are like mini bug pretty much, they almost don't affect gameplay at all. If those bugs keep you from playing BW, jesus, live with it. Oh and more weapons are cool.

SB spoke my mind, I think Grasshopper is the only one who has ever experienced the high-Rail shot bug. I tried countless times to remake it myself a while ago but no luck.

Grasshopepr, we hammered this thing like you won't beleive after you reported the high rail bug, but we couldn't find it! We tried dedicated servers, listenservers, lagging it to hell, everything and no rail high bug...

No, we did not just ignore what you said, we take all bug reports seriously and do make an effort to try and find and fix the bugs.

There is just one small problem with bugs... They will always be there. They cannot be exterminated entirely. We will put in a reasonable amount of effort to get rid of as many as possible like any professional developer, but only god can make a bug free program...
The question for us is, do we put in 2 months of work to get rid of increasingly more insignificant bugs, or do we use the time to make things that will be apreciated and noticed?

If I uninstalled every buggy game and app, my harddrive would be empty, save for that 'hello world' app I made in C++ the other day...
I certainly wouldn't have halflife or UT and by god not windows!

Maybe we should make you a beta tester... Then you can get the best possible chance to get rid of any bugs in v2.0...

whats this bug? the only replacement bug i remember was pretty much the ammo being put else or not even in the map with the correct weapons, and having say multiple weapons bases for say the Flak cannon, and each one has a different shotgun on it, that bug i know was destroyed when 1.6 came around, cause it was mostly the onset of twice as many guns.
