After reloading my machinegun, I let out a hail of bullets on the Krao. Many Krao got killed, but the swarm seems to never decrease in size. One Krao got too close to me and I blasted it, causing blood to splatter all over my face. Dazed for a moment, I wiped off the blood only to find the Krao coming closer and closer.

For some reason, I took cover and tried to catch my breath. "Oh great," I told myself, "you're gonna get everyone killed now." I did not move. It was like I was paralyzed by something. I just sat there, breathing heavily, with a machinegun in my hand. Even when some Krao were approaching me I did not budge. I kept telling myself to open fire, but I didn't. I was a sitting duck.

I slammed one pack after another in my Fifty-9's while taking down many Krao with spraying bullets everywhere. Dodging, slashing and shooting Krao all at the same time, It was a though job avoiding all stuff coming at me, but my agility practice really paid off. The turrets I setted up were mowing down Krao like it were nothing. I jumped from turret to turret to check its status, while slamming another ammo pack in my guns.

A Krao came a little close while I was working on my turret, but right before he wanted to strike at me, the turret activated and smashed some bullets right in his head. AI guns have such good accuracy.

"Haha another two, DIE filhty bug! Thats 102 for me, 0 for Krao!"

I jumped over Kylin's head, grabbing a grenade out of his ammo pack and threw it somewhat above the Krao crowd, it exploded in the air, smashing many pieces of metal in all directions. How many were we fighting against? Would this mayham ever stop? And would they just stop chewing on MY FINE TURRETS!!

Meh my character likes indoor much better, hiding in a dark corner waiting for someone to pass by, and then jump right on him smashing and shooting with the Fifty-9's I also like to hack security systems so they turn against the enemy instead of me.

That was the sound of Johnson's chaingun. Surveying the battle field, he pumped round after round into the legions of Krao. "Eat my lead!" He yelled.

Krao after Krao fell to his constant stream of red-hot lead. Hearing the Sarge's order, he ran to the forward bunkers. Xavious had dropped the BFG not far from the primary turret. He ran past the downed KylinRage and picked up the huge weapon.

"The gun's fried!" He yelled back to the Sarge. Dodging the searing energy bolts whizzing past his head, he dove behind Kelly's bunker. "Flip the left-hand switch and reset the CPU!" Sarge ordered in between plasma bursts. "He's lucky that thing didn't overcharge, it would've killed him!"

Johnson handed the newly-fixed BFG to the Sarge before returning to his bloodshed.

Holding the trigger firmly, Sergeant Kelly charged the weapon to its full capacity. The recoil was like a hammer to his shoulder, but he didn't feel anything. The massive sizzling green ball flew past the lines of defense into the crowd of Krao. Green tendrils of energy zapped all the enemy troopers in a 50 meter radius before the plasma ball detonated in a massive, devastating explosion.

As he popped a new cell into the port of the gun, however, he watched as a berserk Skrith leapt clean over the forward barriers heading straight towards Johnson. "Look out!" He yelled, but it was too late...

The mad Skrith plunged his wrist blades into Johnson's chest before ripping them up and out. Kelly watched as it threw his lifeless body away and rushed towards Bulska, who was busy reloading his Fifty-9s. Jamming down on the trigger of the BFG, he sent another green ball of death towards the Skrith. Just in time. As the Skrith raised to do the kill strike, the charge connected. The result was a minor earthquake and a painted Bulska.

It's almost over...

The SOS tapped out from Base Delta 2 reached the UAC fleet orbiting around Luxor just as Sergeant Kelly fired the BFG at the berserk Skrith. Fearing the worst, they manually activated the Orbital Thermal Cannons and sent a Mk-212 UAC Dropship to recover the survivors. As the ship left the atmosphere, Kelly watched the cannons. Brilliant beams of red-orange light blasted down from multiple satellites. Nothing would survive.

Sgt. Kelly called in Herr and call in a major bombing, it happened, every Krao on the planet was dead.

The men got back from Luxor IV, but bad news happened, Dr. Kien gave them bad news, "while you were gone, the skrith attacked the place, but no one was hurt, but.." "what is it Kien?" Captain xavious asked, "um... They took Storm X's Body!" Kien muttered "WHAT!!!" captain Xavious Yelled. "where are they headed?" "Demenix 2, the Cyron are gonna try to revive Storm X and turn Him against us!" Kien said.

Can they make it in time?

Captain xavious, it's time for the next mission, Skrith and Cyron took Storm X's body and going to revive it unless the team get there in time, the place is demenix 2.

'I see... perhaps I could hack into the Cryon production centre and make them breed Cryons which are on our side instead of Skrith side... or just tear em apart with my fifty-9's!' ^^

Wow, gone for a day and look what happens!

"Alright, these Cryon are a nasty lot. Never let your gaurd down, even when things seem quiet.

We're going to need some sealed environment suits. These guys have some nasty tricks with their nano-technology.

And whatever you do, don't. Touch. Anything."

I opened up the armoury to see what we had for protective gear. Looked like a few space suits, a couple power assisted, maintainence void suits, a rather fancy looking enviro suit, looked to me like that new nano-tech suit.

I hear they actually provide physical protection as well as offer a sealed environment, and is even capable of repairing itself given time and some energy. Sounds plenty fancy, but I'm not too sure I'd want to use that.

"I'm going to take one of these maintainence suits, everyone else pick your gear. Keep in mind the space suits aren't very durable and can easily rip if you engage in melee combat. Knowing the Cryons, you don't want to be in a compromised suit for any longer than necessary.

Whoever takes this nano-tech suit, you better be careful. I don't know what can be expected from that thing."

I switch out my shotgun for a flamer.

After dropping off the Runestorm soldiers, the Mk-212 Dropship turned around and headed back to the UAC base on Mars. Tired after a long day of fighting, Sergeant Kelly slept through the ride. He needed the sleep; there would be loads of red tape to go through once they landed.

The massive dropship docked in bay E1-M1 before dropping off its remaining passengers. Sergeant Kelly passed through security and headed for the barracks. As he passed through checkpoint A-4, however, the base's PA system activated and a metallic, tinny voice interrupted."Would Sergeant Thomas Kelly please report to Delta Labs for debriefing."

Walking to the double pneumatic doors to his left. Sarge entered the 8-digit password and headed for the monorail station. Grabbing a newspaper and boarding the high-speed train, he dozed off again and snored slightly. Unless you liked red rocks and dust, there was nothing to see.

Delta Labs was the pinnacle of High-Tech. Monitors buzzed in the hallways and unseen generators hummed slightly. Everything was brand new here; including the teleportation chamber with Kelly's name flashing above the door.

"Greetings, Sergeant." Said the lead scientist, Dr. Betruger, as Kelly opened the door. "We'll handle your debreifing later. Right now, we've got a problem."
"Yes?" Sergeant Kelly asked.
"One of our best scientists has gone missing. We need you to find him."
"Why me? Why not send one of the grunts?"
"He asked for you specifically. Your gear is on that table; one Plasma Rifle, one Pistol and one Envirosuit. We need you to bring him back alive."
"Is there any reason why we're meeting in the Teleportation Chambers?"
"Yes, we are teleporting you to the planet Gress."
"Teleporting?"
"This is the fastest way, ships would take days. Besides, the higher-ups want to see how they handle."

Stepping into the teleportation chamber, the Sarge gritted his teeth and braced. "BWOOOSH"

As his vision began to fade, he barely saw the word, "MALFUNCTION" flashing above the console.

It felt like his body was being ripped apart by a thousand chainsaws. He just kept stretching and stretching until he thought he would explode! And then finally, it was over. He was standing in the destroyed remains of a spaceship behind three men in spacesuits. An army of Cryons were opening fire on their position. "Shit!" He yelled before diving behind the cover of a small barrier.

Hey my spaceship isnt destroyed! maybe engine failure -.- Can't I use its guns? they kinda stronger then hand-weaponry.
