Kelly aimed his assault rifle at the newcomer. "ID, soldier."

Sorry i'm late, I had to wait for my mom to get off work...

During The cap'n and sarges expedition, they found a survivor, Storm X.

"Hey, you ok?" the sarge said, "i'm fine" I said, "but the rest of my men is dead"

"What happened?" Xavious asked.

"well we was digging an anicent artifact that can give life to people for every 5 demons they kill with it. it was the Temen-gru" , we almost got it out, but before we can have a good look at it, some Cherubs, came flying at us, My men died, but I survived just using my Revolver and some TNT we have stored in the caverns. I need your guys help, if the demons take the artifact, who knows what could happen. What do you say?"

OoC: Storm, you're the guy that was shooting at us earlier. It's kind of odd for somebody to introduce themselves after that.

Kelly covered near a stone wall and peered around, two shots impacted the wall behind him. The shooter was human.

"This is Sergeant Thomas Kelly of the UAC military! Throw down your weapons and put your hands up! That is an order!"

Power assist? Some not much, designed more for environmental protection and life-support then as a by-pod fork lift

Industrial grade it will keep me safe from toxic slug and sharp pointy things but is not so good as a bullet shield.

The sarge kept his gun raised, the 'Private Contractor' sounded a little phony. He was probably a spy. Once they left this hellhole, Kelly would have to interrogate Dark, find his supporter, and terminate him.

"Fine, but don't make any sudden movements once we get out. I'd like to have a little chat with you about your 'supervisor'.

Doctor Storm, stay behind me.

Xavious, lead the way."

“We can have a nice long talk soon as were out of this, but I have one condition, both of us have to come out alive.â€Â

Kelly scanned the marine's body with his PDA. It read 'Z-Sec'. Zombified Security.

'Something' was controlling the UAC forces down here.

Grabbing the extra clips from the dead soldier, the four of them headed towards the large cathedral. A couple UAC crates stood next to the large door. "Gear up, everyone."

The crates contained a stockpile of UAC weaponry; a chaingun, a plasma gun and two shotguns were lying in the first three. The fourth was larger and stood off to the side. Sergeant Kelly keyed it open and hefted out its contents. The mighty BFG 9000 and four cells. He activated it just as two Z-Sec troopers appeared around the side of the building.

As opposed to the one-armed one, the two enemy zombies had full armor. Dark's bladed projectiles tore into the first one while Xavious' machinegun forced back the other. Kelly placed an energy cell into his weapon as two more of the demonic humans emerged from around the cathedral. One was toting a dangerous looking shotgun.

As the four demons closed in, the sarge fired one of the green plasma charges from his gun. It obliterated the two opposing zombies. Shit! More were coming! He fired off another shot as three rounded the corner. They just kept coming! Shots ricocheted off the walls as the demons attempted to purge the intruders. Doctor Storm had no armor whatsoever, they needed to get him to safety.

"Everyone! Into the cathedral!" Kelly said as he charged up the BFG and blew a hole in the door.

OoC: Sorry I haven't got to this yet, been a bit busy lately.

I looked for something to barricade the opening with to slow the zombies down. We found some heavy tables and started piling them up against the hole.

"That's not going to hold them for long, we need to get moving."

We took a look around the Cathedral. Ancient masonry and arcane symbols could be seen everywhere. We walk down the corridor quickly as we hear the zombies pound away t the makeshift barricade.

As we ran, a raspy voice echoed through the corridors, "Fools! Where do you have to run? Your fate is already sealed. Accept your end!"

Up ahead, a faint whispering could be heard.

The sarge cautiously walked forward as the other three watched the door's barrier.

A body was lying spreadeagled in the middle of a pentagram. It was missing its limbs. It had armor quite similar to what Dark was using.

As Kelly leaned forward to inspect the body, a massive heat wave threw him back. A strange, disfigured scientist appeared over the corpse. "You! I command you!" It was the same raspy voice as before. Kelly aimed his rifle as Dark shouted. "Dr. Shultz!?"

Dark's 'Private Contractor' took this as his chance. A red, translucent skull flew out of his palm and impacted with Sergeant Kelly's head. "Aarrrghh!" Kelly yelled as the demonic scientist attempted to take control over his body. "Sh- Shoot it!"

The razor blade fired from Dark's Basilisk rifle impacted with the monster; blood spurted from the now open wound.

"You think physical damage can stop me? I am all powerful!!" As Dr. Shultz said those last words, he began to transform. "I came down here a measly human. What I found was power, an unlimited source of immense power! Ben here failed to embrace the power, he payed for his actions." The pulsating monster pointed to the dismembered corpse. Kelly, freed from the demonic grasp, peppered the doctor with assault rifle rounds.

"You have failed me as well, Dark. I told you to bring demons! Not humans!!" With a massive burst of light, the doctor transformed. All traces of human life were gone. Two massive growths on the creature's hands glowed red. Pale gray skin enveloped its body. Kelly's PDA flashed 'Archvile' as he ducked behind a pillar.

"Minions! RISE!"

Two chaingun wielding commando zombies spawned into action.

Arcane symbols sunk into my ancient armour and glowed a brilliant blue as the scientist began his infernal transformation. I watched as my armour's self diagnostics display showed the hydraulics efficiency raise rapidly, even past 100%, and stop at 112%. Tortured metal could be heard as the dents and scars of my armour popped back into place.

One of the chain gunners opened fire on me. I ran at him, round after round slamming into my renewed armour. The chain gunner kept firing, but his gun jammed as I came nearer. I ran into him and brought my fist upon his jaw, shattering it and the lower half of his skull.

Sergeant Kelly pulled out the BFG and began to reload. He heard a crunch as Xavious' metal fist connected with flesh.

Snapping the energy cell in, Kelly fired at the secondary Commando. A large green ball of death sped towards the snarling beast, causing it to become a splatter on the wall.

The victory was short lived however, for as the first two fell - three more spawned in. The splintering of wood was heard as one of the demons spawned in the door's barrier. There was nowhere left to hide.

"Dark! Protect Storm! Kelly, hold those demons off! I'll deal with Shultz."

I smelled the distinct aroma of burnt ozone as Kelly fired another round from his BFG while I charged towards the traitorous scientist. Schultz raised his hand towards me and let loose a ghostly skull.

The runes on my armour glowed brighter as the spirit was unleashed. As it screamed towards me it dissolved harmlessly in front of me while the runes glowed even brighter; the entire cathedral was cast in a blue light momentarily as the spirit dissipated.

Schultz stood with a slightly shocked expression on his face, then motioned his hands again and stood in concentration, chanting in an infernal tongue. A hellish fissure erupted from the ground between me and the archvile; hellfire washed upon me from below. I could feel the heat rising, my armour was starting to glow red from the immense heat, the runes glowed brightly in the presence of this hellfire.

It felt as though something deep inside me had grabbed hold of me and began to drive me on. I walked calmly to the archvile, still in concentration, while my armour still was glowing from the heat, and grabbed his arms, breaking the incantation.

He broke free from my grasp and tore into my face with his gnarled claws. I spat bood at him and slammed my fist into his skull. He looked at me ad smiled through his mangled face. It was reforming nearly as quickly as it was shattered.

He laughed with a sadistic glee, "Why do you continue to test my patience mortal? I bring life back to those that lost it. I bring death to those that run from it. I am a god!" With that he picked me up and threw me towards the others, "Now witness my fury!"

Five pentagrams materialized on the ground around us. Two hell knights spawned forth and three bio-mechaical demons spawned from the remaining summoning circles.

Sergeant Kelly watched in horror as the massive demons spawned around them. Two Hellknights and three biomechs. His PDA had no info on the biomechs, so he entered in the name 'Pinky' and created a file. As the device scanned the three creatures, the sarge flipped a toggle switch on the back of his gun.

The BFG the sarge was using was not the standard model, it was an older prototype with an integrated generator overload switch.

"Failsafes Offline: Hypermode enabled."

With the safety systems offline, the weapon's full power could be released. Utilizing Hypermode caused heavy damage to the gun and released lethal amounts of radiation, but the payoff was worth it.

Kelly pulled the trigger.

A blinding flash englufed the weapon's nozzle and powerful green tendrils of energy burst forth. The first Hellknight writhed in pain as his flesh was seared off his bones. He acted as a conductor for the beam, sending it through the second Hellknight and the pinky demons. Green energy erupted from the demons as if from a live wire. The smell of burnt flesh filled the air.

Kelly released the trigger. The weapon in his hands sparked and smoldered. The temperature reading was in the red. Turning towards the zombies at the entrance, Kelly let loose another lethal ray. An alarm sounded as the weapon's core reached critical levels.

Dr. Schultz watched the battle. He let out a maniacal laugh before returning to his incantation. The body of the soldier below him burst into flames and a red pentagram began spinning above it. It spun faster and faster until it solidified in a burst of light.

The newly formed object glowed with an electrical blue hue. Dr. Storm gasped as he realized what it was. "Oh no, not the Temen-Gru..."

Electricity arced throughout the object as Dr. Shultz took hold of it. It glowed even brighter before fusing with his chest. He cackled as an eerie glow enveloped his body. The red organs on his hands swelled in size and turned a dark shade of blue. Charged bolts of lightning jumped from the growths to their surroundings and each other.

"Oh, CRAP." I said, "Whoever possess it, is an all powerful immortal and must take 5 humans per sacrifice to keep in this form."

I hid behind Dark.

I turned my attention back to Schultz after Sarge turned to take care of the zombies.

I heard Kelly yell something before I heard an unusually loud discharge from his plasma cannon.

Before I had time to respond three imps spawned around me, then five maggots spawned around them. I grabbed my chain and made short work of the four in front of me. I could feel a barrage of fire hit my back. I turned and brought my chain through the skull of one imp, punched another out, then took out the last two maggots with ease.

I could see Schultz shrouded in hellfire and lighting, his arms raised in the air as he began chanting again. Behind me I could hear Dark Watcher scream in horror as two of his dead comrades clad in powered armour raised from the dead, twisted and changed to something of Schultz's creation. The two demonic men stared at me and spoke in infernal tongues. Hellish runes glowed on their armour as the flesh melted from their skulls. One of them grabbed a chainsaw, the armour's air hose snaked its way to connect with pneumatic rock saw. The other grabbed a steel bar and they charged towards me. I could see their armour was just as corrupted by the evil magic as their bodies were. Writhing tentacles were bursting from their arm plates, thick black smoke spewed from their air scrubbers, and their legs were blackened from the hellish flames.

I tossed my revolver "here use this!"

"it contains holy water bullets to rid of the demons"

The sarge was able to kill half of the incoming zombies with the souped up BFG before it overloaded. Hearing the warning alarm, he tossed it into the crowd. A bright green explosion erupted within the mass, sending zombies and debris soaring.

"That magnum isn't going to do anything to thick armor!" Kelly shouted as he glanced in the doc's direction. Grabbing the A-14 UAC Machinegun from his back, Kelly pumped round after round into the few remaining Z-Secs. He wore down their armor as they wore down his. The enemy shots tore rents in the damaged plating as he covered behind one of the many pillars of the cathedral. "Grenade out!"

Kelly threw his last grenade into the midst of the corrupted humans. The ones that were smart enough to cover survived, but four were taken out in the blast radius. Placing another clip in the compact military weapon, Sergeant Kelly opened fire on the remaining few.

Two head shots took down the first one. Four body shots and one leg shot took down the second one. Tweleve body shots compromised a stronger one's armor while two more shots put it out of its misery. The torrent of lead that leapt forth from the 60-round clip shredded the opposition. Kelly took out another one of the large ballistic clips as the pillar above him exploded in a burst of electrical power. Doctor Schultz smiled. The versatile machinegun was wrenched from Kelly's hands and then propelled back with greater speed. It exploded on the wall as Kelly dove towards the ground.

"So thats how you treat the UAC security force, eh? Let's just see if you can do the same with the commandos!"

Kelly unholstered his shotgun as two fully armored UAC Commandos spawned into the battleground. They were not yet zombified.

"Kelly! There you are! We've been looking all over for y-- AHHHHHH!"

The transformation took place before his eyes. Fire engulfed their bodies as they mutated. A massive tentacle enveloped the arm of one as the other readied his chaingun.

I thought for a while, then...

"I got it!, we need the Drant-gru, it's a blade that combat the temen-gru's ways, Sarge! Is their a small depression, that's a detour to the far side of Mars, That's where the Drant-gru is."

"Do what you must, but we have to split up. I'll stay here to try and slow down Schultz, you guys get the artifact!"

I turned to face the power armoured commandos. I swung my chain at the chainsaw to try and disable it. I swung twice, on the second try it hit home. The demon was busy trying to untangle the chain while the other one slammed the metal pole into my shoulder. I recoiled from the hit and turned to face him.

He tried to impale me with it next. I grabbed the jagged end to stop it, but he managed to push me into a wall in the process. The tip was touching my armour. The demon pushed, it went in deeper. I couldn't get a grip on it. I closed my hands tighter, I could feel my fingers starting to pull away from the sockets. My hands sank into the solid steel bar. I grabbed tighter and pushed the rod away from me and sent it into the armour clad demon. He still came at me. I grabbed hold of the rod and swung him around by it. I slammed him into the wall, then I tilted the rod downwards and shoved it into the stone work floor.

My vision blurred, my view was shades of blood red. I tore the impaled commando limb from limb. During the process I heard a whirring, clinking noise. I faced the chainsaw wielding commando. Evidently he untangled the chain.

He held the chainsaw high above his head as he was about to swing the saw downwards. I ducked and slammed my shoulder into his gut, throwing him to the ground. I grabbed his arm and brought the saw towards his face. Tentacles sprouting from his arm began to wrap around my arm, I ignored it.

He resisted, but I continued to push. A horrendous sound of metal bending and bones cracking were heard before the sound of a chainsaw tearing through flesh and bone. I tore the chainsaw from his hand, ripping out the air hose and the now withering tentacles in the process.

I held the chainsaw in my right hand, it hissed evilly as my armour and its air hose meshed together. I felt something vile pass through me the moment before the arcane runes of my armour flashed brilliantly.

My world still crimson, I charged at Schultz, he sent blasts of lightning at me, but they made no difference. I plowed into him, but he held his ground.

We fought with the might of gods, unstoppable titans drove by our unshakable resolve, neither gaining headway, neither losing ground. His own gluttony for power was his driving force. For me, the future of humanity. We fought, we fought with no regard for life or death, for in that moment, there was nothing else but the dire need to be the victor. Nothing else matters.

Okay im joining using my 2nd character again this time it makes more sense sorta

i reconected the comm staition and said "this is specialist Redhammer, does any Uac personnel responed repeat any Uac personnel responed we got a speciemen breach code 426 he has escaped the mars complex no one was harmed we are sending in reniforcements for extraction, is extraction need please responed"
i hear a muffled staticy voice
"this is sargeant kelly----we need renforcements asap ----- need ------ we are engaged and have wounded -----"
then i lost it , i cursed under my breath and checked the locaition of that transmission, my mouth dropped in awe , they were near one of the martian structures

Aiming the shotgun at the chaingun commando, Sergeant Kelly fired one of the powerful shells. The spread of pellets knocked the zombie off balance and deterred its aim. Blood sprayed from its wounded shoulder. Howling in pain, it wound up its multi-barreled weapon and began firing.

The walls behind the sergeant erupted in showers of stone and dust. Reaching a safe point behind a pillar, Kelly covered.

OoC: Darkonxy! They have no radios! Nobody is wounded!

Taking careful aim Dark Watcher sighted his Basilisk on Dr. Schultz head “Don’t you’ll hit Xaviousâ€Â

Kelly reloaded his shotgun before exposing himself to the commandos. He squeezed the trigger just as the melee commando broke down the pillar. The zombie received a face full of lead, but kept coming. With a swing of its tentacle arm, the creature knocked Sergeant Kelly to the ground. It let out a screeching laugh. Using its massive tentacle as a scythe, the corrupted human began tearing at Kelly's torso and face. It took two more shells to destroy the hideous beast.

Kicking the rapidly disintegrating body towards the chaingun wielding one, Kelly jumped up and unloaded two more shells into it. It staggered back as he whipped his AM67 out of its shoulder holster and fired the last clip of stunners. The monster crumpled to the ground as the sarge administered a blinding flash and threw the weapon at it. Walking over, Kelly looked down at the dying beast.

It let out a final yell as he delivered the execution. The shotgun painted the ground red.

Glancing up, Kelly watched as a large glowing sword sliced through the armor of Xavious' powersuit. The runes covering the ancient mining armor dimmed slightly as the sword clattered to the ground.

For a brief moment in that battle, we were brought back to this twisted mockery of reality, Schultz's power source diminished, my armour and body sliced deep from the one thing that could kill my enemy and save humanity.

As I recoiled in pain I saw what had cut into me. Laying on the ground was a glowing blade. I touched it and the sword burst into a cloud of fragments, it then, as if on its own volition, entered the air intake of my armour. My quickly fading runes flashed brilliantly and steadily glowed brighter than ever.

Ethereal flames washed over my chainsaw's blade, it screamed out in vengeance, a vengeance that has been dormant for far too long. I roared in a bloody frenzy and tore into Schultz with more ferocity than ever. My chainsaw began to work its own path through the demon, severing limbs that regrew as soon as they fell, shredding those putrid organs, staining the ground with his corrupting ichor, only for them to mend together as soon as they were destroyed.

He tore into me with his claws and black arts, burning my flesh, my armour, my very soul. He spat hellish curses and burned demonic scars onto me, but they made little difference.

I turned my chainsaw to his power, the damnable Temen-Gru. A profane light burst from his chest, images of unspeakable horrors, unholy rituals and perverse sacrifices flooded my mind, the pain and wrath of countless tortured souls aeons old all felt at once.

Kelly, Dark Watcher and Storm X watched in horror as the two were locked in combat. As Xavious struck the cursed artifact one final time, the searing light skeletized him instantly, but his charred armour was still fighting on, relentlessly hacking the demon to peices as both he and the demon were pulled into the blinding light, tearing the very fabric of reality as the artifact folded into itself.

The three men stood at the mouth of this newly created portal, Xavious' empty, charred and smoking armour rested before them.

"Hmm... i think the portal leads to the eternal damnation of the 4th plane of hell."

OoC: The portal leads out of Hell. In order to link the stories together, it is going to lead to the 'RNS Beast'. That's the spacecraft from the original story.


"Go! Go! Goooo!"

Kelly threw the doctor and Dark through the portal. He saluted as he stepped through himself.

"BWOOOOSH" As Kelly was ripped out of the hellish dimension, he caught a brief glimpse of the two behemoths. Runes flashed and faded until a massive burst of light shattered the dimensional rift.

Kelly hit the ground hard.

"Holy Hell!" The face of Jack Killian blurred in and out of view.
