np, i was messing around with it trying to block bullets with my Katana when it finally hit me (besides the bullets lol  )..........

Did you manage to block bullets? I think this mod needs something like a magnetic arm shield. A small device on your arm that generates powerful magnetic field in front of you that will block bullets. But you can´t use a gun at the same time so only use this to look for cover while under heavy fire.

Dunno, sounds a bit too similar to the shield gun... How about an energy weapon that has a protective shield altfire? Tactically this would make a lot of sense, and it's reasonably original too... The shield could (partially) stop bullets and bounce back (some) energy projectiles, like light sabers do. Killing someone with his own energy bolt would be pretty cool imo.

It doesn´t sound at all like the shieldgun except the alt. fire, but why shouldn´t BW be allowed to have a shield generator? 
But your idea is very good too, maybe create another railgun which is much smaller but weaker and higher fire rate? Looks like a rifle but a high tech one. And alt. fire will make a shield in front of the barrel that bounces normal bullets away but "eats" energy ones. |

Samurai powerup...for limited time, katana can block bullets...be kinda odd though, since you probably wouldn't use katana over RPG with full ammo. |
