uhm.. chances are 2k7 has very different engine stuff.. it'd be wasteful for us to develop on 2 different games.. right now we wont be able to run 2k7, but we're saving up
we'll port it to 2k7, then start on a TC, continuing the mutator of course, and BW will grow to enormous proportions

I say port the thing to UT2007 as soon as possible, then keep on developing it for UT2007 but freeze the developement for UT2004, version 2.0 and a few BPs ain't a bad end. |

BP's will always be around
i mean, we'll port BW to 2k7, and develop it as a TC and mut.. 2k4 version, i'm not sure about.. chances are it will fall away  we'll only start on 2k7, when 2k7 is out, so 2k4 still has some life

Is the release date for "the pack" in the same exuation as duke nukem forever? (incase you don't understand "X" when used more then once in an equation is always the same) oh and Pigs are shiped by air quite a lot so pigs do fly |

Well, I do hope we get 2.0 before this potentially under-development pack, otherwise I'm afraid if 2.0 will be released in 2020+ like DNF seems to be heading.

well all i know, is that once RS gets a PC that can run ut2007 or its engine, they should then get a feel for it, experimenting with it, while we all wait for UT2k7, and once that ships, then they should port to UT2k7. I say this so that we, the community get more RS stuff, RS gets to test the limits and or other possibles on UT2k4 and practice with new modeling techniques and stuff like that. Cause it'd suck to be already porting the thing to UT2k7 when its not even out, the game doesn't even have a shipping date yet for Gods sake. |
