Ok ive been wondering this for a while now how do i get the special functions to work like while playing on a server. By special functions i mean the lasers coming out of the bombs and being able to reload when ur weapon isnt out of ammo.. Please post a faq or some info on this subject

well what do you mean by the keys being binded ive never done anything with BW accept started a LAN game with my bro..

That might be the problem... :D

Under input, configure your controls so that you got a key for reload, special function, etc...

Hopefully that will solve the problem. :)

For me i use Caps Lock as Special Function, Tab as the weapons fire mode, F for reload and Z (or was it X?) for Iron sights.

ty i will try this ill come back with info on whether it works or not cuz some guy told me that u have to download something..

EDIT: There are know controls that i can configure for special function and reload what now

GO in settings then go to input then controls, then scroll down til you see Ballistic Weapons as a title.

Really? Near the bottom there should be a group that says Ballistic Weapons. Can you see that?

Let me get this straight, you were wondering how to get the special functions to work, and you thought you didn't have to bind them? Did you think the game would magically read your mind to trigger them? !dodge

ok i have installed BW before but they arent installed right now because it say Ballistic Version Mismatch when i play on my favorite server (Hedsteem which some of u knoe Wup who owns the hedsteem servers) so i install it when i play LAnN games with my bro and take it out when i dont so what do i do to get the ballistic weapons settings in the input under configure controls without stopping me from playing on my fav server..

if u could post a dl link or an exact name of download that i need..

That is a very common problem because the RS guys were so smart to not add version numbers to the package names, let's hope they'll fix that in the 2.0 release. Until then you have to chat with Wup and see what he says.

I thought I submitted a FAQ for this, but it never got put up...
I'll try to help you out with this more, let me find the page that explained this first. :)

EDIT

Ok, check out this link, hopefully this should get you the version mismatch error from coming up. :)
After you do that reinstall BW v1.72

If you got more problems with it PM me and I'll try to help you through it.

hmm.. seems like it's installed funny.. normaly, the controls would be in a section, in the configurte controls menu :) make sure Ballistic.int is in the system folder..

personalny i use z and x for change fire/sp function (though i might change sp function to tab) R for reload and f for use, (my cener button is also use)
