I MAY be wrong, not 100% sure on this.
When you hold crouch, you can't fall off ledges right? ...but on BW this doesn't work anymore.
Is this a bug, or was it intended?

Yes it is that way so you can max out your accuracy and fall out of your snipers nest wile tiring to get a better angel.

I like that better when you can fall off edges while crouching.

I've made airducts in some maps where you crouch trough... but then you cannot fall out of them and you are stuck xD |

Yes intentional! It sucked how you couldn't fall down inf you were crawling through a pipe or something and also had to make a big noise just to drop down off a tiny platform... |

UT2004 wasn't made for such "complex" gameplay features like crawling in airducts.
