Also look for DC in front, too. He made a few too you know.

I installed the map packs properly, but ONS-Limbo, DM-Beach, and DM-Canal don't show up on the deathmatch or onslaught map lists!! Can someone help me out? |

Either way, looking for DM-Beach will not turn up any results. Why don't they add the prefix BW/JW instead of DC or BE? |

Why don't they add the prefix BW/JW instead of DC or BE? Because if you look at other map names, you find the prefixes are usually the initials of the mapper, or the clan they are from. |

That's a tradition, not a law or rule. The mapper can be credited in the readme, the map name should be linked with the mod or TC it is part of, to make it easier to navigate through the maps. DC and SB prefixes would mean the maps are located in two groups in the map list; and that is not counting BE. |

Yeah, maybe a better naming convention would be nicer, and one could still keep their own initials in it too, by naming it something like DM-RS-SB-*** |

I'd rather have just two, DM-BW-***, and DM-JW-***, and have the mappers name in the description on the right side, u know under the pictures. It worked amazingly well with the HaloUT mod. All their maps, regardless of mappers (which they had plenty of). It would be like DM-HUT-*** and have the authors name some where, it worked great or RS could use as X said DM-RS-***, but i think BW and JW would work better, since you'll know if its for BW or JW gameplay. |

As far as I know the JW maps already had that, or something like that for their names. EDIT: Just checked, they have a the naming convention of DM-RSJW-*** |

Exactly. DM-RS-*** would work well. Though i think DM-BW-*** and DM-JW-*** would work much much better. |
