Normally, if I play onslaught without BW, it would run REAL smooth. But whenever I play with BW, it feels like my game's on 2 FPS. Can some one help me out with this issue?

what is your gaming rig (ie ram, CPU, GPU), and what settings are you running UT2k4 on, and what settings are you running Ballistic Weapons on?

Use Fraps and get the accurate framerate number when it is slow, and show us your computer specs and in-game settings as UP said.

BW is newer and hungrier for rescourses than old UT2004, which is no slower than UT2003 which came out in 2002, so either use a faster machine or turn down some detail settings...
What are your specs? That will tell us what you need to adjust.

BW shouldn't reduce framerate by hundreds of percent though, this is a little fishy to me.

Well, it's an exaggeration, my estimate is 10 FPS during the hit, then 30 or so at normal speeds.

It seems like you don't want to post your system specs.
Then we can't help you. Sorry.

So it drops by 30 percent? Specs? If we know them, we can get a better idea of whats happening...

Your computer should be easily capable of running BW smoothly on any settings in ONS.

Out of curiosity, after a match in ONS with BW, how big is your log file?

Post subject:  HUGE FPS hit on Onslaught using BW

hm... Where can I find the log file? I'm not too familiar with computer things...

By log, you mean the thing that records stuff? I could find that in the UT2004 folder right?
