Whoa! Very nice
One very small thing though: I think there are a few too many meaty gib bits when someone explodes. Maybe a little less might be good. I don't know, just something I thought... Oh, and I noticed that there's a "1" stuck to the end of that file. Does that mean that there may be some more of these? |

That. Is. Incredible. Never thought I'd see gore that good in the Unreal2.5 engine. You guys frighten me. Also, I really like what you've done with your logo there. |

I do have one thing to note about; the filesize is strangely big. You could get the file down to 300 KBs or less if you used DivX Pro, GoldWave and VirtualDub to enhance audio and video channel optimization. Two of these programs aren't freeware, but they aren't expensive either. I'll watch this after 2.0 beta has been released.

"Basketball gibs", Hah! I like that... Summs up UT's gibs... Course I've never seen gibs that glow in the dark... Anyway, the beta testers will still get the opportunity to suggest changes after they play the beta. If at that stage there is enough call for gore tweaks, we can do things then... For now, glad everyone likes the mess! We have put a lot of work into the gore system and have aimed for high quality and a smoothness. Feels a lot better now than the old basketballs that apeared when you got a headshot...

Get everyone crazy for BW X. Man, the gore is simply amazing. I keep seeing extra things, like just before the guy dies (first one), you see a gush of animated blood fly up and stuff, real cool extras. |

Probably will on older rigs... Even the current (less fancy) explosions cause microfreezes on mine when the action is hot. 
But, the fx do look nice. Are there any entrails (there should be, everyone loves entrails, right)? Kinda hard to see in this demo... It would be awesome if you shot someone in the gut and their entrails just popped out.
