1.71 Swapping BUG & config issue!

alright here are my two bugs from testing 1.71!!

When you go into Swapping menu all is fine and save's but when you go ingame it doesn't use the saved setting that you saved

Ex: i made a preset called Jeffs (my name with the s) than i went into the Assault rifle one than de-selected the Xk2 subrifle , the MRT shotgun and the Skirth side arm gun and left only the pistol to replace the assault rifle! Than i saved and went started up a round and BOOM i ended up with the Xk2 submachine gun, than i died and got the Skirth side arm, than i was killed and i finally got my pistol!!

So please RS fix this ASAP!!

This version claims to have fixed the slow loading times of the config menu but it hasn't!! I opened up the Ballsitic Weapons menu and then clicked on Crosshairs and i had to wait for about a minute or so for it to load!!

You do have 20 Gbs of files, that explains the long load times. There is a limit how much coding can optimize load times.

we tweaked the config menu abit... it not possible to get it more.. if you go into the menu to change only some of those settings, then its OK.. sorry we cant fix the other times tho:(

we will check out that swapping thing as well..

Sorry to bother y'guys about it, but I only found out about 1.71 late last night and I'm in school now. Therefore, I should ask now:

Did they fix the bug where you start with the melee weapon whipped out? Or is it still evident?

They said they fixed it in 1.70 >_<...

it was fixed in v1.70.. but there were some reports of it still happening.. we'll look into it some more.

Let's hope the problem isn't buried deep in the ground. But I'm sure they'll manage to fix it before 2.0.

Making new content takes time, especially in the case of 2.0 which will have not only new weapons but new maps & vehicles as well.

What are werid questions by the way?

By the way Bjossi has the team looked in the not saving swapping bug? Cause i think if they made a load feature in the swapping menu like in the Ballistic Arena mut than it would work better and fixing it soon would be good to!

You need to tell them that yourself since I have never used the swapper so I'm not familiar with this bug. :S

Yeah, if 2.0 will have lots of new stuff, including fancy vehicles and such, it will probably take a while... But maybe it would be possible to do a mini release (1.

first, with one or two new guns and maybe some minor tweaks here & there. You know, something to fool around with while we wait for the Big One.

well its their fault that we (the users) have no bugs to report, the mod is so damn near perfect that bugs almost are impossible to find, Way to go RuneStorm!

try removing the Random Default Weapons option..
