Anyway, a couple of things (I will probably add more as I play more)

1. Weapons no longer lag for 3 seconds due to loading when you pick them up - that's good. But they still lag for one second. Why not preload all the textures and meshes?

2. That grenade launcher has pussy velocity. Real grenade launchers fire a lot farther. Can you fix that?

3. There are no mutator config options in webadmin or in the GUI ingame. Did I do something wrong?

4. Throw a sniper rifle while zoomed in adn you stay zoomed in. (at fov 20 or something) Bad.

You are supposed to configure the mutator/game rules before a match. And by the way, number 4 sounds like a bug that needs to be squashed.

I installed it clientside, put "Ballistic Weapons" as mutator, selected it and pressed "configure mutator", and got an empty config screen. Anyone else care to confirm?

For the last version stuff showed up in webadmin too, and right now jack shit does.

do you have 1.6 + 1.61 installed? cause after you have them i highly suggest you get the zip file than extract & overwrite old files!

ok.. thanks for the mirrors!! i'll get them onto the downloads page..

as for the grenade launcher.. that is about as much velocity as a assault rifle grenade launcher will do!!

we'll check out that zoom bug..

when you click on config mutators, then click the "open" button in there.. you can only set things before a match btw:)

I don't think you understand, please don't treat me like a moron. There is NOTHING in the mutator config menu. I'm not trying to configure it during a game, I am configuring it before the game. It might be due to .int files from Ballistic 1.60/61, but i'm not sure. I thought overwriting was enough for installation.

5. A lot of times with the sniper, rail, and RPG, it plays the firing animation and sound but doesn't fire. this is when you do it in quick succession...

6. The high railgun shot still exists...it's just less prominent.

7. "20 box of 12 Guage shells" is still spelt wrong.

it will do that not firing thing if you are a client right? it is a UT lag issue..

ok.. that goddamn railshot is getting annoying!! how did it happen?

and yeah.. we'll get that spelling stuff done..

ok.. try uninstalling BW, then reinstall v1.70.. that might help.. the only thing could be the .int files i think:dry:

Nah man...the UT assault rifle fires a much longer grenade when charged...the M50 is really lethargic. Compare it to the M203 grenade launcher on the M16 assault rifle...that grenade goes really far. If it went ballistic-style in real life you'd always kill yourself. In fact the M203 has a fuse so it doesn't blow if it's airborne for less than 0.7 second.

i agree with heheman on the gl on the assault having worked with them, if they only went that far i wouldn't be here, still the best mod for UT though.

You've used an m203?!! Lucky dog. The Natl. Guard Armory over here won't even let me near the M1 Abrams after what happened hte last time. . back when I was 12.

Anyhow, yes. The GL should have its range/speed knocked up a bit. Maybe reduce it's blast raduis/damage a bit too, those grenades aren't THAT big. They weigh a fourth of what a pineapple-type nade does. I want to see it shooting farther, but I don't want it overpowered. The M50 is a little TOO useful already. But I kinda like it that way, it's pretty much BW's mascot gun. I mean, heck. That's not a skrith rifle that skeleton up there's packing.
