I think the way you guys had ballistic replace weapons in 1.60 was better, because it actually worked with gametypes like TAM where you spawned with weapons. Now it doesn't, you get the UT2004 default weapons. Can you guys fix it back to the way it was before for the next patch? |

there is just no way to satisfy everone:laugh: but we may rethink the weapon replacing methods yet again.. |

Also...i still see a lot of bio rifle ammo on maps where it's supposed to be replaced... |

It's a VCTF map on my server... I had been picking up mines for a while when i suddenly got bio-rifle ammo. Anyway, I'm really disappointed now that we can't use ballistic in gametypes where you are given weapons...like Slave Master and TAM, just to name a few. Maybe you guys could revert on the next patch
Also, please PRE-LOAD everything so we remove that last bit of lag when joining the game... |

Please just fix the bug cause now weapon placing in any gametype where you have to pick up the guns is perfect! |

simply to offer a situation in which standard weapons appear - not to complain: in slavemaster - if "reward" is on - you get the default weapons and not BW - someone more adept at such things could probably easily find a file to edit to fix this again, it's not a big deal I assume that somewhere the game is referencing a specific list of weapons that goes around the replacement process - that may be happening in the other instances people mentioned |

That should be easily fixed, but it would be easier if the developer of the gametype added Ballistic support. Since it is easier for him/her to add the support than the Runestorm team to spend time finding a workaroud. |

It's a lot easier to ask you to support multiple gametypes than try to get 10 gametype developers to add support for a specific weapon set in each of their mods.
Also, this worked fine in 1.60, why change it? |

Alright just to ask, Do you want to change the weapon replacing system on Maps or for other (non-Epic) gametypes Or something totally different cause i'm getting a little confused? |

As long as imgame pickups for the mut stays like it is i'll be happy, my reason its so damn perfect right now on any EPIC or BW gametype even works well in CTF! |

It also affected my original UT. Now if there is a minigun, I see boxes of grenades and bullets for assaults. And if I play Arena with only Assault Rifles, the Ammo is minigun bullets, and you cant get refills, cuz minigun bullets dont fit into assault rifles. |

I thought the Minigun bullets were ammo for the Assault Rifle, it was like that in UT2003. I haven't played mutator-free match in UT2004 in ages so I could easily be wrong... |

Don't quote an image, change it into a link to the image, it spares bandwidth which is limited. But I like Alpha Centauri better, so I'll keep that as my avatar.

The image is cached...so no matter how many times it appears on a page, you download it the same number of times - once. But once again, this is off topic beyond recall. Would you guys please just use the weapon replacing method from 1.60 instead of 1.70? |
