First off, does the Unreal Anthology come with UT2004? If not, get it and install that.
After that is done, go here and read it.

Ok i need help i just downloaded v2.0 zip file and when i got done there gives me system, textures etc so how do i set it up so i can start playing????? becuase i got the Unreal Anthology game. so can someone give me some screenshots plz. O ya this is for BW thx |

Ya it comes with ut2004 i got it installed but i dont see any ServerPackage just serverfilters and package.md5 |

Uh... start up UT2004, and if you want to host a game click host a game, choose your gametype, configure game rules, then add the mutators. Make sure you add the BW mutators unless you are playing a BW gametype. This stuff is pretty self explanatory, you should be able to figure it out... If you don't plan on hosting a game click instant action instead of Host game and do the same stuff. |

Just play Instant Action, playing online isn't for beginners. To find your IP address just type my ip into google and then remember the number combo you see. Or write it down. |

ya i know but i just want to play BW and theres no Vctf that one said the map is or w/e but i want to just like type the ip in so it will bring me to the server |

This isn't MSN, type with proper English so I can understand you. vCTF is available for Instant Action and so is every map for that gametype. It's just a matter of finding & downloading them. |

Goto Server Browser Under Internet Change the Game type to VCTF you should see my Server up there...Double click it and Join... |

At least unlucky beginners. When I started playing stock UT2k4 I joined a random server with a frag limit of 25. There was this guy with 20, and I had 0. I surpassed every other player and beat the former frontrunner 23 to 25. I do have to thank my constant practice of wall-dodging in IA. Helped me get through a lot of matches. I'm sorry that this is off-topic. To be on-topic, I don't play online, so I highly suggest you just play a virtual online tournament like me. Assemble the teams, adjust the skills, make specific objectives, manage every team you put in the Instant Action League, and keep a Win/Loss Record. That keeps me consumed for a long time (You could add in player transactions, mini-leagues, and challenges to extend that time.). |
