I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but we see it a lot on my server. It's observed the most with the Assault rifle grenades, G5, and mines. The second time you fire the weapon, immediately after the first time, the animation takes place but nothing happens: no projectile, no ammo used, nothing. I don't think it's a lag issue, because it always happens. Maybe the local computer thinks the cooldown time is enough but the server doesn't? Anyone else experience this? Edit: The assault rifle grenade NEVER fires the second time. Ever. it only fires the third time. This is really annoying because you can't do anything while the animation is taking place. I've got the same problem. I came here to post that very problem & noticed you had already posted it. I have noticed one other thing, though: when I play instant action, locally, the weapon fires properly. It's only on dedicated server play that I have the problem. Hope that helps. I Love that grenade! ...and I want all four of them! jk |

Yeah...maybe you guys never notice this because you only test it on LAN. Join my online server and you will definitely see it. I don't remember observing it much in Ballistic 1.6, however, if at all. |

we might join your server if calls didnt cost so much, and we had something better than dialup.. but we have seen this thing happen a bit, but u say its got some sorta pattern.. guess we'll look at it some more |

Happens on my server too. Sound and animation of grenade launch, but, nothing really happens. With the mines, you place one or two and then your hands are empty. You have more mines, but, you can't do anything with them. There is still a problem with being able to place them on the floor at times too. I know you have to be looking straight down. Sometimes you can't place one on the floor untill you put one on a verticle surface first. |

I haven't had that problem exactly...It's more that half the mines I place are imaginary, i.e.: I pick up 2 mines I put one down, it goes down, I have 1 mine left I put another down, nothing appears, I still have one left (with the whole animation of putting it and all) I put another one down, I finally run out of mines... I don't know about having mines in inventory and not being able to place them...never seen that. |

This is really getting obnoxious in online play...Sometimes it takes 10 tries to put down a BX5, and I basically fire the assault rifle grenade an extra time after each shot because it's guaranteed to only fire every other time. This was all in a 5-bot game with 12 ping... |

Ok- anything ever get done on this issue? I haven't noticed a change in the new releases. This really affects gameplay of the M50. There's nothing quite like having that grenade ready in close combat. Any update? |

it'll get fixed in due time, i bet its already fixed, but they are going to save it for v2.0 release which should be in a couple months if i remember correctly. |
